Bid sheets provide a brief description of each item, opening bid dollar requirement and minimum bid increment requirement. 2. Bidders must write their name and the amount of their bid in the space provided. Subsequent bidders must increase the bid by at least the minimum bid increment in order for their bid to be recognized. A bid on any item can be raised multiple times. The higher the bid, the more money is raised to support Long Reach’s clubs and activities. 3. In case of a dispute, the auction committee shall have sole and final discretion in determining the winning bidder. Once the auction table closes, no additional bids will be accepted. 4. The auction committee will circle the winning bid on the bid sheets, then winners should bring their winning bid sheet to the cashier’s table. All items must be paid for by the end of the evening at the cashier’s table. Credit cards, cash and checks will be accepted. 5. All sales are final and there are no exchanges or refunds. All items are sold as is. Basket Raffle Instructions 1. Baskets are on display with a ticket bag next to each one. 2. Purchase tickets and place your ticket(s) in the ticket bag next to the basket that you would like to win. You may put as many tickets in one ticket bag as you want. 3. Tickets can be purchased with cash, check or credit card at the cashier’s table. $1 – 1 Ticket $5 – 6 Tickets $10 – 15 Tickets $20 – 40 Tickets 4. The winning ticket for each basket will be randomly selected at 10 p.m. You must be present to win. The Frederick Keys are launching the Report Card Program, sponsored by Miss Utility. During the month of April, K-12 students who bring in a report card showing an “A” or a letter grade improvement will receive two FREE tickets to a Keys game. “We are always excited to award students for their academic achievements,” said Keys Assistant General Manager for Marketing, Bridget McCabe. “This incentive will encourage youngsters of all ages to hit the books and be the best they can be in the classroom.” Students will have 14 games to choose from, while an entire list of redeemable dates is available here. To participate, youth need to bring their report card to the Nymeo Field box office on the day of the game they wish to attend. Youngsters can then choose any seat, based on availability. There is a limit of two tickets per report card, per transaction. This offer is not valid online or over the phone.     Frederick Keys Assistant Groundskeeper The Frederick Keys are looking for an Assistant Groundskeeper. This position is an integral part of the Frederick Keys. The Assistant Groundskeeper will work hand-in-hand with the Head Groundskeeper to maintain one of the top playing surfaces in the Carolina League. We are looking for someone with both prior experience and the desire to gain even more experience. This is an opportunity to gain management experience and be involved in all aspects of maintaining the Harry Grove Stadium playing surface. Job Description – Assist in planning, supervising and executing the maintenance of Harry Grove Stadium. The Assistant Groundskeeper is a seasonal position which runs From March thru October (8 months). The Assistant Groundskeeper is an important part of maintaining a state of the art playing surface. They will be involved in all on field maintenance including mowing, field marking, fertilization, irrigation, mound and plate repair, edging, skin maintenance, tarping, batting practice setup, aerification, and set up for extra events that will be held at Harry Grove Stadium. The Assistant Groundskeeper will also be overseeing other grounds crew members including the Turf Intern and Gameday Grounds Crew members. Harry Grove Stadium - Located in historic Frederick, Maryland, Harry Grove stadium was opened in 1990. The facility is home to the Frederick Keys, Carolina League affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. Athletics is viewed as an extension of the classroom and earning a degree is the top priority for all of our students. ATHLETICS To compete at this level, student-athletes will have coaches and staff members who train them in their sport, in the fitness center and in the training room. Each season, our programs train to win and work to develop athletes (mind, body and spirit) to position themselves for championships. SOCIAL We do not define success only by earning a degree or a championship ring. We define success by the types of people we develop in athletics. We are committed to community service. We engage in social topics and use our stage to make a difference in the world. We provide our student-athletes with opportunities to develop emotional intelligence, social awareness and acceptance based around the core values of Hood College – Hope, Opportunity, Obligation and Democracy.
