2016-17 Campbellville University Women’s Basketball @LTB_CU | Campbellsvilletigers.com GAME-BY-GAME HIGHLIGHTS

NOVEMBER 4, 2016 • CAMPBELLSVILLE 65, HARRIS-STOWE 58 • McKENZIE, TENN. • Lady Tiger basketball had to overcome a very slow start to their season but fought off a very athletic Harris-Stowe team, 65-58. • Campbellsville finished hitting just 38 percent from the floor but that was up from a measly 29 percent in the first half. The Lady Tigers improved by shooting 45 percent in the second half and picked up defensive stops down the stretch to hold the Hornets to only seven fourth-quarter points. • Senior Emily Fox led the Lady Tigers with 15 points – nine of those from the free throw line (9-of-10) and also a pair of 3s for her total. • The first half was all Harris-Stowe, as the Hornets came out pestering CU on the defensive side of the ball and the LadyTigers were unable to get into their offense. After taking the opening tip to the basket for a layup, the Hornets led all the way until the 7:42 mark in the fourth quarter when CU took its first lead, 52-51. • Campbellsville ended going on a 13-0 run midway through the decisive quarter and Harris-Stowe was unable to recover after going scoreless for almost six minutes spanning the third and fourth frames. The first basket for the Hornets in the fourth quarter came with 5:02 remaining.

NOVEMBER 5, 2016 • CAMPBELLSVILLE 88, HIWASSEE 50 • McKENZIE, TENN. • Coach Ginger Colvin was able to play every player on her bench, as all but one scored a point in Campbellsville’s 88-50 win over Hiwassee. • Emily Fox got hot from deep, hitting five 3-point baskets and scoring a season-high 18 points. Fox also grabbed three rebounds and dished out three assists. • Point guard LeeAnn Grider kept her teammates involved by grabbing five rebounds and dishing out seven assists – both game-highs. Grider also made a bucket and a free throw for three points. • Grider gave way to Lauren Turner and freshman Caitlin Hall for majority of the second half and both thrived in ample playing time. Turner scored nine points, while Hall registered her first Lady Tiger points with a 3 in the final five minutes of play. • Out of Campbellsville’s 28 made buckets, 19 of those were assisted. Behind Grider’s seven, Fox had three and Turner, Clements, Abby Miller and Madison Kaiser all registered two assists. Caitlin Hall rounded out the Lady Tigers with one dime.

NOVEMBER 7, 2016 • CAMPBELLSVILLE 73, TALLADEGA 72 • TALLADEGA, ALA. • Madison Clements scored five points in the final 20 seconds – two of those a game-winning runner in the lane with 3 clicks left - and No. 4 Camp- bellsville was able to survive once again on the road, 73-72, over No. 21 Talladega College. • The Lady Tigers trailed by as many as 11 points in the first half, but Clements sparked the CU rally and buried her lone 3 of the night with 5:52 remaining to bring the game back to even, 61-all. • With 2:01 to play, Talladega took a brief 70-67 lead after Sydnee Clark converted an old fashioned 3-point play by hitting the and-one free throw. CU would then slow down Talladega’s attack in the final two minutes by only allowing a pair of free throws the rest of the way. • With the score, 70-68, in favor of Talladega, Tashebe Henry was fouled and went to the free throw line with 20 seconds left but gave the Lady Tigers a chance by only hitting 1-of-2 freebies. • CU took advantage, as Clements nailed a 3-pointer to tie the game at 71-all. • CU called a timeout with six seconds remaining and senior point guard LeeAnn Grider found Clements on a back-door for a last-second layup to seal the Lady Tigers win.

NOVEMBER 12, 2016 • CAMPBELLSVILLE 108, BLUEFELD STATE COLLEGE 41 • PIKEVILLE, KY. • Campbellsville went on a 20-0 run after the halftime break today and completely blew open an 18-point game against Bluefield State in the Eastern Kentucky Expo Center, 108-41 • CU was a chilly 2-for-14 from 3 in the first half, but forced 20 turnovers and cashed in on 15 of its 19 free throws to command a 37-19 halftime lead. But the Lady Tigers warmed up after the break, hitting 10-of-21 from 3, to reach their season percentage (35%) from behind the arc. • Out of the break, the Lady Tigers’ 20-0 run was punctuated by a couple of 3s by Madison Clements and Emily Fox, forcing two Bluefield State timeouts. They led 57-19 with 6:20 in the third quarter. • The Lady Tigers held the Rams to just 29 percent shooting while connecting on 49 percent themselves after hitting 36 percent in the first half. • CU had five players in double figures, led by Clements’ 19.
