What about the 25 catches in a three-game span? The third most in school history, and he joins some pretty good company. The most catches in a 3-game span in CU history: 27—Charles E. OBSCURE NOTES OF THE WEEK ¾ PK Aric Goodman has now had the unfortunate luck of hitting seven uprights during career (he even asked if that was some kind of record); well, we don’t track that, but he has 91 career kicks at Colorado. Thus seven hitting the upright is at a rate of one of 13 or at a 7.7 percent clip; but six have hit the upright of his 15 missed field goals (40 percent). ¾ Despite being outgained by some 770 yards on the season, Colorado actually has the same number of 10-plus yard gains (136) and owns the edge in five- plus yards (295-284) over the opponent. ¾ The Buffs at times have played some terrific defense, especially in their own territory. This year’s dates: Sept. 8-15-28 (Monday), Oct. 6-13-20-27, Nov. 3-10-16 (Monday)-23 (Monday), Dec. 1-Dec. TBA (bowl). NOTE that there is no organized press luncheon on Sept. 22 (bye week). The 11th through 30th minute of practices Tues.-Wed. (all of Sun.) in-season are open for photo/video needs from the end zones and sidelines.
