SCHOOL Fairfield Christian Academy is a four-year private high school enrolling students in grades 9-12. The high school enrollment is approximately 170 students. FCA opened in the fall of 1998 and graduated the first senior class in the spring of 2003. FCA is a chartered, non-public school accredited by the State of Ohio and the Ohio Department of Education and is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International. Our diplomas are readily accepted at any college or university, and our graduates are awarded significant academic scholarships each year from a wide variety of colleges and universities.

VISION STATEMENT Fairfield Christian Academy equips students with a biblical worldview in concert with an excellent college preparatory foundation, to impact their world as competent and passionate ambassadors for Christ.

CURRICULUM Students graduating from Fairfield Christian Academy are required to complete a strong college preparatory curriculum which requires a minimum of 4 units of English, 4 units of mathematics, 3 units of social studies, 3 units of science, 1 unit health/physical education, 1 unit of computer, 1 unit of fine arts and 3 additional units of electives. One unit of Bible is also required for each year in attendance at Fairfield Christian Academy. FCA has 8 academic periods with courses meeting for a full year or semester. Credit is awarded for each semester.

Honors classes are offered in Spanish IV, Physics, and Anatomy & Physiology. College Credit Plus (CCP) allows college ready high school students the opportunity to take college coursework at FCA or at the local institutions of higher education for high school and transferable college credit.

FCA Class of 2020 averaged 31.34 credits of college preparatory studies. 48% of all FCA graduating students earned an Ohio Honors Diploma from the State of Ohio. 52% of the 2020 class earned an Honors Diploma from the State of Ohio.

RANK Fairfield Christian Academy does not rank its students. Cumulative GPA is un-weighted. Honors and college credit courses are on an honor’s grading scale that allows additional weight, but does not exceed the 4.00 GPA scale. Those courses are designated as HN (Honors) and CCP (College Credit) on the student transcript.
