After his return , when the St. George Temple was completed he spent several months in St. George. At that time he did a baptism for James Bath. Someone else was proxy for Mrs. James Bath. This was the only information given.

All other dates for birthdates for Simeon Adams Dunn (father to Simeon Adams Dunn born 1803) and Sarah or Sally Bath have been from approximations and family histories. As far as I have been able to determine no one has found other documents for Simeon Adams Dunn, (Sr) or his wife Sally Bath.

It is important to keep in mind that if family histories are correct, Simeon was only 7 years old when his mother died and 9 when his father died. There is a possibility that his memory of the names may not be correct.

This James is more difficult to be certain whether he remained in England or left. He was born in Greater London. There are several marriages for a James Bath in the area of greater London. James Bath, a bachelor, to Susan Barsley at St. Mary Whitechapel, London on 28 Nov 1776 in the Borough of Town Hamlets James Bath to Hannah Mead 25 Dec 1771 Westbury, Wiltshire James Bath to Elizabeth Burdock 17 June 1770 Cornwall

The Following are burials for a James Bath: James Bath buried 25 July 1763 St. Wood Street, London, England lowest place in church James Bath buried 2 April 1773 St. Matthew Bethnal Green, Middlesex, England James Bath buried 31 December 1767 Westminster, Middlesex, England James Bath buried 31 December 1768 Westminster, Middlesex, England

There is also a James Bath apprenticed to Thomas Bishop in 1780. He is listed as a cabinet maker. Parish: St. Leonards Shoreditch, London, England

Conclusion: Because of the dense population in the London area and the lack of ages or parents’ names in marriage records and burial records at this time, it is not possible to say whether the James Bath christened in 1753 in London ever left England. There is no immigration record for a James Bath leaving England 1753-1776. Because there are few records indicating immigration to the U. S. prior to 1820 this is not conclusive. However, no record of a James Bath has been found in the United States, particularly in New Jersey, New York, or Pennsylvania in the time period of 1750-1800. In order to provide evidence of Sally Bath and a possible parent, James Bath, additional research is necessary in the United States and possibly in England.

4. Concerning a marriage of James Bath and Mary Ann Noe. Simeon Adams Dunn b. 1803 did not state his maternal grandmother was Mary Ann Noe. I am not aware of any history of Simeon Adams Dunn that states his grandmother was Mary or Mary Ann Noe.

Mary Ann Noe [ID: LH8V-PPH] , a daughter of John Noe [L8Z9-QN3] and Catharine Trembley [LH7J- 8KR]. John Noe had only two children: A daughter Mary Ann Noe [LH8V-PPH] born about 1744 and a son Peter Noe [KL6X-L5N] born about 1746. His daughter Mary Ann Noe Clarkson died in 1779 before her father, John Noe. It would not be logical that he had two living daughters with the same name and his known daughter by that name lived until John was 59 years old. . Mary Ann Noe married John Clarkson 28 May 1768 in Middlesex, New Jersey John Noe and his daughter Mary Ann Clarkson are both buried in the First Presbyterian Churchyard in Woodbridge, Middlesex, New Jersey. They are found on findagrave.com I have attached the Will of John Noe. In that will he names heirs as his wife, Catharine; his son, Peter; and three grandsons: Noe Clarkson, James Clarkson and John Clark Noe. This would indicate he had no other heirs on the 8th of April 1788 when he wrote his will. Therefore this Mary Ann Noe was not the wife of James Bath.
