Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool is the native, free, and simple utility tool to create Windows DVDs or USB flash drives. The program supports the creation of bootable 64-bit and 32-bit operating systems . When you download and install the software on your PC, you get access to a decompressed ISO file or a collection of compressed files. The tool has been developed by Microsoft Corporation to install the ISO file on a Windows computer. Convert Windows ISO to USB and DVD-compatible versions. If you’re looking to boot Windows , you’ll be glad to know that the program runs smoothly on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 PCs. It’s worth mentioning that XP users will have to first install Microsoft Image Mastering API and Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 . This might need some technical knowledge and experience. Along with the program, you’ll also need the full version of the Windows ISO file. The program requires 50 MB of free storage space on the hard drive, a USB device of at least 4 GB space, or a DVD-R drive. In simple terms, if you want to create Windows flash drives, you need the program, the ISO file, and either a 4GB flash drive or DVD-R. How to convert Windows ISO to USB? Compared to WinToFlash, WinToUSB, and EasyBCD, Windows USB DVD Download Tool comes with a simple interface . The program has been specifically designed for people without comprehensive technical skills or knowledge. The tool features an “Online Help” section, which connects you with someone from the Microsoft community. In order to create Windows flash drives, the program needs you to follow some simple steps. Once you download and install the application, the main window will greet you with a screen depicting “ Step 1 of 4 - Choose ISO file ". Right below this information, you can either insert the source file or look for a relevant file with the web browser. If the data you enter turns out to be accurate, click the Next button, which is located in the bottom-right corner of the screen. The setup will take you to “ Step 2 of 4 - Choose Media Type ”. Here, you will get some information about copying the decompressed file to a flash drive or burn the ISO file to a DVD-R. If you choose the USB backup option , you need to use a flash drive with at least 4 GB of storage space. In order to continue, select either "DVD" or “USB Device" in the lower-right corner of the screen. In order to create Windows backups, the program gives you a "Start Over" option, which restarts the boot order. In Step 3, you need to verify the inserted media . In case the DVD or USB information isn’t visible, there’s a refresh key to help you out. Step 4 lets you copy everything from your system’s default Windows drive to another storage space. Before initiating the process to create Windows DVD or USB, it’s important to copy the data in your DVD-R or USB flash drive. Otherwise, it will be overwritten . How to create a bootable Flash drive? With Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool, you can either skip this operation or erase the drive to install a bootable version of Windows. Once the program has identified the drive or disc, you need to click “Start Copying”. Last but not least, you need to create a bootable drive . In the center of the page, you’ll notice a loading bar, which will give details about the progress. Once the integration is complete, the main window will display “Bootable Device Created Successfully." On the loading bar, you’ll see the "100%" tag, while the status will display "Backup Complete." It’s the perfect way to create Windows backups for your system. A reliable tool for Windows PC users. Windows USB DVD Download Tool gives simple instructions to create a bootable version of Windows operating systems. You only need the ISO file and a flash drive or DVD-R. The program requires you to follow only a few steps, and there are multiple forums to guide you through the process. Since this program has been developed by Microsoft Corporation, you don’t have to worry about the tool’s stability and reliability. 2 Simple Ways for Downloading Windows 7 ISO File Safely, Legally and Officially. You may have many reasons to install a copy of Windows 7 on your PC. There are close to two to three methods where you can download the ISO files legally. Some of these methods require you to have a product key for downloading the Windows 7 ISO file. However, the other method doesn’t require you to possess a key to download the file. This guide only helps you in downloading the ISO file of Windows 7 legally. You must have a valid product key to activate the Windows later. If you don’t have one, buy it from the Microsoft Official Store. Without any delay, let’s check how you can download the official ISO file of Windows 7 easily. Scroll down and you’ll find a section for entering the product key . In this given space you need to enter the 25-character product key that came with your product. After entering your Product Key of Windows 7 OS, click on the Verify button. The website verifies your key and if your key is valid, the page will prompt you with the message “ The product key is eligible for Windows 7” Now select the language for the Windows 7 file that you wish to download. In the end, select either 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows 7 that suits your PC. Finally, the download link will be generated which will expire automatically after 24 hours. These were the steps to download the Windows 7 ISO file legally with the valid Product key. Although, you need to install the downloaded file on a bootable DVD or USB drive. TechBench has all the required ISO files but is very difficult to find the files on the site. Eventually, Microsoft pushes its users to exclusively use the Media Creation Tool. • Understanding Windows 10 – a Guide to Help Get You Started Settings
Understanding Windows 10 – A Guide to Help Get you Started By Jim Hillier – July 14, 2015 https://davescomputertips.com/understanding-windows-10-a-guide-to-help-get-you-started/ Following an initial perusal of Windows 10 it appeared that Microsoft included a lot of changes merely for the sake of change, presumably to help expand the gap between Windows 8 and Windows 10. However, after spending more time working with the new operating system you will realize that statement is incorrect, and here’s why. Settings – The Windows 10 Nerve Center At the very heart of Windows 10 is the ―Settings‖ menu which provides the interface for managing how the operating system displays and behaves. Consequently, a number of previously easily accessible settings/options have been moved into the Settings menus for the sake of centralization. While this may well now force users to dig a little deeper in order to locate a particular setting, I can appreciate the logic behind it, everything in one place, and no fragmentation. Finding “Screen Resolution in Windows 10 For example: Accessing ―Screen Resolution‖ settings has long been a simple matter of selecting the option from the desktop right click menu. Now, in Windows 10, one needs to take a rather more convoluted path: 1. Click Start and then Settings 2. Click System, then click Display(the Display tab should open by default) 3. Click ―Advanced display settings‖ There it is! Adding Desktop Shortcuts to System Locations in Windows 10 This is another setting location that has changed and integrated into the all, encompassing Settings menu.

  • Creating a Custom Windows to Go Device
Creating a Custom Windows To Go Device One of the great features in Windows 8 Enterprise is Windows To Go. This feature allows you to take your Windows 8 install anywhere with you and run it from any PC with compatible hardware and the ability to boot from USB. This allows you to use the same PC from home or work, and makes working remotely a snap! You can install all of your management apps on one PC, then with a VPN or remote connection, have the same applications and manageability that you would as if you were sitting in your office. You can also create Windows To Go pen drives and essentially keep a bunch of “computers” in your desk drawer! This is a great option when rolling out Windows 8 in an enterprise without needing to overwrite an old PC, it also presents a lot of great testing opportunities! Microsoft only supports Windows To Go on a select list of certified devices. You can find that listing on their website: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/enterprise/products-and- technologies/devices/windowstogo.aspx Creating a Windows To Go device is pretty simple. All that you need is a system running Windows 8 Enterprise and the Windows 8 Enterprise installation media. Then you can simply open the control panel, click on the Windows To Go option, select your pen drive and wait for the magic wizard to complete. However, that only provides you a base Windows 8 image to work with. I am writing this to aid you in creating a custom Windows To Go image that can be easily pumped out to multiple pen drives.
