CHIRP Radio is thrilled to announce that we will once again be hosting a record fair in conjunction with this year’s Pitchfork Music Festival, taking place at Union Park in Chicago, on September 10—12, 2021!

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an incalculably huge impact on the industry at large. We're doing everything we can to ensure that this return to in-person programming is a success for you, our vendors - starting with table costs, which have been lowered to pre-2016 levels in recognition of the financial challenges of the past year. We are so grateful that you're ready to jump into the fray with us!

Pitchfork is requiring all vendors and attendees to either a) provide proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination (either through a TBA health pass app or by presenting your CDC white card vaccination record at entry) or b) provide proof of a negative COVID test within the last 72 hours, for each day admittance to festival grounds is needed. We believe that these requirements will make the festival and Record Fair a safe and fun experience for all involved.

The Record Fair will take place under an open-air canopy tent (with multiple fans) on the tennis courts at Union Park and will be open all days and all hours that the Festival is taking place. Please note that you’ll be required to sell for the full three days of the Fair; make sure to bring enough to sell!

Load-in is Thursday evening. As this fair is a strict 3-day commitment, note that you will not be able to load-out on Friday or Saturday night; the only time for load-out is Sunday night (10pm, after the fair is over).

If you are interested (and we sincerely hope that you are!), please return the attached contract, signed waiver, and payment. We will send you an email confirming your attendance once we receive those three items.

Participant agrees to release BIG STIK LLC for any and all claims and suits related to its participation in the 2021 Pitchfork Music Festival, and to defend and hold harmless The Chicago Independent Radio Project; Big Stik, LLC; At Pluto, Ltd.; Pitchfork Festivals, LLC; Advance Magazine Publishers, Inc.; City of Chicago; and Chicago Park District, for any and all claims and suits that may be brought as a result of such participation. Participant understands that it can obtain insurance from third parties to cover the risks that may come to participant as a result of participation in the event. BIG STIK LLC does not provide any such coverage and it is the responsibility of the participant to find and pay for any available coverage.
