Information about the Alpbach tourism region The village of Alpbach (975 m above sealevel) has been the venue for the "European Forum Alpbach" since 1945. The Alpbachtal tourism region lies at the heart of the Tyrol. Framed by the rugged mountain peaks of the Rofan Range and the green grassy mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps, the region with its ten villages is a truly special gem. Original farms, enchanting in summer with their colourful floral decorations, as well as rustic Alpine pastures and huts are part of the distinctive landscape.
