His research focuses on communications policy and has appeared in several academic journals and edited collections. He is the author of Media and Politics in Italy (Lexington, 2015). Aurora Labio is a Tenured Lecturer at University of Seville. Director of the Media, Communication Policies and Democracy in the European Union research group and author of articles published in international journals. She is the author of the report Media and Child Protection in humanitarian crisis (Save the Children, 2009).
