HOW THE POLL WAS CONDUCTED This poll was conducted by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research, Inc. of Washington, D.C. from July 23 through July 27, 2016. For this section of the poll, a total of 400 likely Democratic primary voters and 400 likely Republican primary voters were interviewed statewide by telephone. Those interviewed were randomly selected from a phone-matched Missouri voter registration list that included both land-line and cell phone numbers. Quotas were assigned to reflect primary voter turn-out by county. The margin for error, according to standards customarily used by statisticians, is no more than plus or minus 5 percentage points for each primary voter group. This means that there is a 95 percent probability that the "true" figure would fall within that range if the entire population were sampled. 1 *** 400 LIKELY DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY VOTERS *** QUESTION: If the Deorati priary eletio for Missouri’s U.S. Seate seat were held today, which one of the following candidates would get your vote: (LIST READ, ORDER ROTATED) Jason Kander 67% Cori Bush 7% Robert Mack 4% Chief Wana Dubie 2% Undecided (NOT READ) 20% QUESTION: If the Democratic primary election for Governor were held today, which one of the following candidates would get your vote (LIST READ, ORDER ROTATED) Chris Koster 73% Charles Wheeler 8% Eric Morrison 3% Leonard Joseph Steinman II 1% Undecided (NOT READ) 15% QUESTION: If the Democratic primary election for Lieutenant Governor were held today, which one of the following candidates would get your vote (LIST READ, ORDER ROTATED) Russ Carnahan 68% Tommie Pierson 11% Winston Apple 2% Undecided (NOT READ) 19% 2 QUESTION: If the Democratic primary election for Secretary of State were held today, which one of the following candidates would get your vote (LIST READ, ORDER ROTATED) Robin Smith 41% Bill Clinton Young 16% MD Rabbi Alam 3% Undecided (NOT READ) 40% QUESTION: If the Democratic primary election for State Treasurer were held today, which one of the following candidates would get your vote (LIST READ, ORDER ROTATED) Judy Baker 49% Pat Contreras 18% Undecided (NOT READ) 33% QUESTION: If the Democratic primary election for Attorney General were held today, which one of the following candidates would get your vote (LIST READ, ORDER ROTATED) Jake Zimmerman 45% Teresa Hensley 37% Undecided (NOT READ) 18% 3 *** 400 LIKELY REPUBLICAN PRIMARY VOTERS *** STATEWIDE NAME RECOGNITION QUESTION: I am going to read a list of names.
