What is Healthy Rewards? Healthy Rewards is your wellness incentive program. Healthy Rewards is powered by Jiff, and encourages healthy behaviors that YOU choose. Through the app and website, Jiff recommends wellness programs tailored to your goals, empowering you to manage your health and earn your wellness incentive all in a simple, mobile one-stop shop. • Discover fun, easy ways to earn points towards your annual wellness goals. Whether it’s taking 5,000+ steps per day, completing your health screenings or participating in the General Dynamics Healthy Partners programs, you’ll find lots of ways to earn points. • Healthy Rewards seamlessly integrates with most wearable activity trackers such as Fitbit, Garmin and Apple Watch, and with free smartphone apps. • Engage with colleagues through company-wide challenges. Your spouse can join, too! Healthy Rewards offers a customizable way for people to connect to their health goals — with rewards and fun along the way!

Am I eligible? Beginning January 3, 2017, Gulfstream employees who completed their biometric screening by the required deadline, except those enrolled in Aetna International, are eligible to participate in Healthy Rewards. Please see PROGRAMS AND POINTS for more information. Your Jiff account will remain active for as long as you are an active employee of General Dynamics and not are enrolled in Aetna International.

Healthy Rewards FAQs / Gulfstream 2 NAVIGATING THE DASHBOARD

What is the dashboard, and how do I use it? The dashboard is the first screen you will see when logging into Healthy Rewards after you activate your account. Prominently displayed is the number of points you’ve earned this month. Touch the left arrow to see previous months and the right arrow to see cumulative points. The default dial will always pull up as the current month and display points earned for that month.

Click on the dial to see which activities Scroll down to see a list of the programs earned you points. you’ve enrolled in.

Touch + Add Program to enroll in other programs.

You earn points by achieving goals or milestones within each program. If you click on a program, you will see the number of points you’ve earned so far and possible actions you can take to earn more points. The maximum points you can earn varies by program.

Healthy Rewards FAQs / Gulfstream 3 Why does my dial read “0” even though I previously earned points? The dial will always display points earned for the current month. It will always read “0” on the first day of the month unless you complete an action or earn points by tracking your activity that day. To see the points you have earned since starting Healthy Rewards, use the arrow to the right of the dial.

What is the Program Catalog? The Program Catalog lists all the programs you’re eligible for, provides details about them and lets you enroll. You can access it by navigating to the “More” menu and selecting “Program Catalog.” You will see three sections: • “Based on Your Interests” are recommended according to the goals you selected when activating your account. • “Auto Enrolled” were programs pre-selected by your employer. • “Additional Programs” are all other programs you’re eligible to enroll in.

How do I learn more about each available program? Click “Details” to read about each program and how to earn points. You must exit back to your dashboard to enter a program. You cannot enter a program from the Program Catalog or Details page.

ACTIVITY TRACKING & TRACKING SERVICES

How do I get my activity tracker and start tracking my progress? Several programs in Healthy Rewards will require the use of an activity tracker such as Fitbit, Garmin or Apple Watch. You can use a tracker you already own or purchase one through the Jiff Store. The Jiff Store offers several tracking devices at discounted prices. To access the Jiff Store from inside Healthy Rewards, click on the “More” menu and select “Jiff Store.” If you don’t want to purchase a tracking device, you can download a free tracking app through the Jiff Store.

I purchased an activity tracker from the Jiff Store. When will it arrive? Shipping times may vary depending on the manufacturer. Orders are processed and usually shipped within 24 hours. You should receive your tracker within 7 to 10 business days. For more information, please visit the Jiff Help Center.

Healthy Rewards FAQs / Gulfstream 4 Which tracking devices are compatible with Jiff? For the most up-to-date information, visit the Jiff Help Center. Jiff supports the following activity tracking devices: Fitbit, Misfit, Withings, Garmin and the Apple Watch are currently compatible with the Apple HealthKit app to track steps. Supported activity tracking apps include: Fitbit App, MyFitnessPal (available only for iPhone, and for activity tracking), MyDietician (food tracking only), CaloryGuard (food tracking only), Calorie Counter by FatSecret (food tracking only), Apple HealthKit (steps and tracking only) and the Moves App (steps only).

How can I link my Garmin device or my Apple Watch as an activity tracker? To use your Garmin or Apple Watch for Healthy Rewards, you must first link your Garmin or Apple Watch to either the Apple HealthKit app (iOS only) or the Google Fit app (Android only). Once you have connected your Garmin or Apple Watch to either Apple HealthKit or Google Fit, you can then link Apple HealthKit or Google Fit as an activity tracking app to Healthy Rewards. Any steps recorded by your Garmin or Apple Watch will be synced for the Healthy Rewards activity tracking programs.

Do I have to use a tracking device, such as a Fitbit, or can I use a tracking app to participate? You can use an activity tracking device or a free tracking app. Here is a list of compatible free tracking apps.

If I’m accessing Healthy Rewards via the web rather than on a smartphone, which activity trackers are compatible? Fitbit and Garmin devices are Jiff-compatible trackers that can sync to their respective tracker services via desktop. This syncing occurs through a USB dongle that comes with the Fitbit or Garmin device. For more information, visit the Jiff Help Center.

Healthy Rewards FAQs / Gulfstream 5 How do I link my activity tracker? And what if I want to switch to a new tracker? To link a new tracker or update your currently linked trackers, navigate to the “More” menu in the bottom right of the app and select “My Profile & Settings.” Under “My Linked Services” click on “Activity Tracker” to link a new tracker or update your trackers. Click here for additional details on how to connect your tracking device to Jiff. Support details for particular trackers can be found in the Jiff Help Center: • Setting up Apple HealthKit (For linking Apple Watch or Garmin) • Setting up Misfit • Setting up Fitbit • Setting up Moves Once you’ve successfully linked your tracker, you’ll begin to accrue points for goals met or milestones achieved. Points will automatically be added to your Steps Tracking program and your Healthy Rewards dashboard once your tracker service recognizes 4,000+ steps in a day and your tracker syncs to Jiff. Can I link more than one tracker to Healthy Rewards? Yes, you can link one tracking device of your choice for each program. For example, you could link your Garmin for steps tracking and your Fitbit to track your sleep. If you have more than one tracker linked for steps tracking, you’ll only receive steps credit for the tracker with the highest steps count. Visit the Help Center for more information about linking multiple trackers.

My steps count doesn’t seem accurate. What can I do? First, make sure you’ve synced your activity tracker to its tracking app. For example, if you are using a Fitbit, you may have to manually open your Fitbit app and hit the “Sync” button to accurately record your steps. Once your steps are updated in your Fitbit account, Jiff will automatically pull them from Fitbit into the Jiff app. Jiff will automatically sync with your tracker service at least once per day. Keep in mind, the data that Jiff syncs with will only be as up-to-date as your most recent sync with your tracking service account. It may take a few minutes for the Jiff app to update your steps. How often do I need to sync to ensure my steps are tracked? It is best (and recommended) to sync your steps once daily. To ensure that your steps are up-to-date, your activity tracker must first be synced with your activity tracking service. Then, open the Jiff app to sync the steps from your tracking service.

Healthy Rewards programs let you earn points for completing everyday activities and focusing on activities that you choose. You may redeem points for prizes and sweepstakes.

Which programs can I complete to earn points? How can I earn in these programs? Below are the programs offered within Healthy Rewards for Gulfstream. Please note that eligibility for certain programs depend on your medical plan enrollment.

How to Link Tracker Linking a fitness tracker is the first step to start earning points with the Steps, Food, and Sleep Tracking programs. Step Tracking With the Step Tracking program, you’ll earn points every day for tracking steps with an activity tracker or a free step-tracking app — all available from the Jiff Store. • Who is eligible? By signing up for Hello Heart, you commit to monitoring your blood pressure on an ongoing basis. • Who is eligible? Employees enrolled in a medical plan and who have been diagnosed with high blood pressure are eligible to apply for Hello Heart.1 • How can I earn points? • Earn 25 points for watching a video to learn more. • Earn 50 points for assessing your risk. • Earn 10 points each day you track your blood pressure.

Healthy Activities Gulfstream offers Healthy Rewards to encourage you to live well and be well — physically, emotionally and financially. Start today and be ready for life’s important moments! How many programs can I select? You may choose to participate in as many programs as you wish. New programs may be added to Healthy Rewards periodically. Once you have enrolled in a program, you will not be able to unenroll; however, you may stop participating in any program(s) at any time.

Healthy Rewards FAQs / Gulfstream 9 How do I return to the program after watching a video? • Smartphone: After watching the video, use your phone’s back button to return to the program’s “Watch a Video” page. • Computer web browser: After watching the video, use your web browser’s back button to return to the program’s “Watch a Video” page.

When do I get points for completing an action within a program? It depends on the action you’ve completed. Refer to the instructional text for each action and expected timeframes for receiving points. If no waiting time is noted, you should receive your points immediately after completing the action.

What if the points aren’t showing up? After completing actions within a program, you must refresh the program to see your points. You can do this by exiting the program back to the dashboard and re-entering the program. Or, leave the dashboard and come back to it. If you still do not see points upon exiting and re-entering the program or refreshing the dashboard, please contact Jiff Support at [email protected].

Healthy Rewards FAQs / Gulfstream 10 REWARDS REDEMPTION

How do I redeem my points for rewards? What rewards can I win? Visit the Rewards Center in the Jiff app for a list of the rewards available. If you completed your biometrics in 2016, you are eligible to exchange points for gift cards, donations, contributions to your HSA (if you elected this option during annual enrollment) and/or sweepstakes entry tickets. We will draw sweepstakes winners and add new rewards ongoing. All rewards in the Jiff Rewards Center are taxable (except for HSA contributions).

Is there a limit to how many points I can redeem? You may redeem up to 3000 points (worth $300). There is no limit to the number of points you may spend on sweepstakes entry tickets, so keep earning points and invest them in a chance to win!

Are my redeemed donations taxable? If you redeem points for donations in the Rewards Center, your donation is taxable. However, you can submit these donations for a tax deduction when filing your taxes. After redeeming a donation, you will receive an email confirmation to your Healthy Rewards registered email address. Please save this email to use as a receipt of your donation when filing your taxes.

Do points expire? Your points will rollover each quarter and accumulate throughout the year. However, they will expire on December 15 of each calendar year.

What is the Jiff Store? To access the Jiff Store within Healthy Rewards, go to the “More” menu and click on “Jiff Store.” The Jiff Store is where you can purchase Healthy Rewards compatible activity trackers and download compatible free tracking apps. You can also purchase other fitness-related items.

Can I use points to buy items in the Jiff Store? Points cannot be exchanged directly for items in the Jiff Store, but you can redeem points in the Rewards Center for Jiff Store Credit, which you can then use to make a purchase. You can also use a credit card to buy items in the Jiff Store.

What is Jiff Store Credit? Jiff Store Credit is a monetary credit amount that you can apply towards items in the Jiff Store. If you have Store Credit, you will see all items in the Jiff Store at a discounted price after subtracting the credit. You can redeem points for Jiff Store Credit in the Rewards Center.

What’s the difference between the Jiff Store and Rewards Center? You can access the Jiff Store and Rewards Center through the Jiff app. • The Jiff Store is where you can download free tracking apps or purchase tracking devices and other fitness-related items. You can buy items in the Jiff Store items using Jiff Store Credit or with a credit card. • The Jiff Rewards Center is where you redeem points earned from participating in the Jiff programs for gift cards and sweepstakes entries.

NOTIFICATIONS

What are notifications? Notifications are system-generated messages that remind you to sync your steps, record your food, monitor your sleep, etc. If you see a red number on top of the “Notifications” menu button, click on the “Notifications” button to read your messages.

Can I turn off notifications? You cannot turn off notifications from appearing within the Healthy Rewards Jiff app but you can edit your phone’s settings to turn off pop-up notifications on your phone.

How does Jiff know I’m a General Dynamics employee? When creating your account, the Jiff token code, wellness, will verify your General Dynamics affiliation.

If I have a suffix in my name (e.g., Richard Smith, Jr), do I need to include it when entering my full name to register for Jiff?

Yes, you should enter your last name, a space and then the suffix. For example, Richards Jr.

How do I access the Jiff app from my desktop? Access the Jiff desktop version through a web browser at: app.jiff.com

Which mobile devices are supported by Jiff? Supported mobile devices include iOS 7.0+ and Android 4.0+. Although we support Jiff on Android 2.3 devices, we recommend users with Android 2.3 phones use their desktop browser for the best experience.

Which web browsers are supported by Jiff? Supported web browsers include Firefox 42+, Chrome 46+, Safari and Internet Explorer 11+. Jiff does not work with Internet Explorer version 10 or below.

Healthy Rewards FAQs / Gulfstream 13 If I’ve downloaded the app, can I still access the Jiff app from my computer? Will my data be in two places? Yes, you can use the app and website simultaneously. The data is always in the cloud, so the app and the website retrieve the latest information when the app is opened or the site is loaded. The data will be cached in two places. However, if you close the app or log out of the app or website, the cached data will be removed from the device and the computer. Reopening the app or logging back into the website will pull the data back into the app or the website.

How long will Jiff store my user history? Your progress in Healthy Rewards is recorded monthly, starting from the day you joined. You can retrieve your information going all the way back to your start date.

Why is Jiff telling me I am offline? If you receive a message about being offline while inside Healthy Rewards, check that your phone/computer is still connected to the internet and your phone has data reception.

Why am I having trouble watching videos? If you’re accessing Jiff through Internet Explorer you may have trouble viewing videos. Try using a different web browser, such as Chrome, Safari or Firefox.

Healthy Rewards FAQs / Gulfstream 14 PRIVACY POLICY

Will General Dynamics have access to my private health information? No. General Dynamics has selected certain vendors who may receive or generate your protected health information (PHI). The vendors hold that information in strict confidence. General Dynamics may receive aggregate statistical information about Healthy Rewards participants to help them better understand their insured population and how best to grow the program, but all information will be de-identified first.

Does my HR Manager have access to my information in the Healthy Rewards app? No. No one at Gulfstream — not your manager, nor anyone in HR or in leadership — has access to your protected health information (PHI). Your data is kept strictly confidential and is protected to the full extent required by law.

What personal information does Jiff have access to? Please read Jiff’s privacy policy here.

Do I need to sign a consent form or HIPAA release to participate in Healthy Rewards? You are not required to sign a HIPAA release form because no individual protected health information (PHI) is released to General Dynamics for this program. Your consent for the biometrics screening will be obtained by your clinician during your appointment, because the clinician will be performing the screening and processing PHI as defined by HIPAA.
