Rusk President Caddie Scholar and Marathon Participant Paul Toohey, CSF ’14 2 33 EVENTS THE PRO AM GOLF TOURNAMENT The 32nd Annual Caddie Scholarship Fund Pro Am was held on August 26, 2013 at Old Oaks Country Club. The Fund is most grateful to the Board of Governors and members of Old Oaks for hosting and re-scheduling the event after the original date was rained out. The day consisted of morning & afternoon shotguns, and an John Eric Eklund, CSF ’12 evening cocktail reception. Prizes were awarded to winners of the team competitions, with low professionals receiving a prize as well. This fun day of golf was in support of the Caddie Scholarship Fund, raising approximately $50,000 to help support the current caddie scholars. We once again thank all who participated! Tuesday, August 12, 2014 4 5 GOLF MARATHON The 2013 Golf Marathon was held on August 19th at The Whippoorwill Club in Armonk, NY. Participants included WGA caddie scholars, caddie masters, golf professionals and club members at Westchester and Connecticut clubs. The participants enlisted the support of friends, family and club members to benefit the CSF. Local businesses also supported their efforts by donating prizes for the most holes played and leading fundraisers. The leading fundraiser was Sunningdale Caddie Master Kyle Sedlacek. The leading scorer for the fourth year in a row was CSF alumnus Andy Kruczkiewicz, who played 133 holes. We are grateful to the President, Board of Governors and membership of Whippoorwill for accommodating us on this important day.
