San Francisco board approves naming the NRA a domestic terrorist organisation San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors has unanimously approved a resolution naming the National Rifle Association (NRA) a domestic ter- rorist organisation and encouraged other cities to do the same. The Colombia peace deal that ended the hemisphere’s longest war is in jeopardy, potentially handing the Trump administration another Latin American crisis, threatening to unleash cocaine production and complicating US eff orts to topple neighbouring Venezuela’s government. Colombia was painstakingly attempting to overcome 55 years of civil war between successive governments and leftist guerrillas that claimed more than 250,000 lives.
