GROUP TOUR APPLICATION Thank you for your interest in group tours at Heritage Square Museum! Group tours receive the personal attention of qualified museum guides who will interpret the unique architecture, history, and lifestyle specific to during the years 1850-1950.

We hope you will join us for a look into Southern California’s past. The following guidelines govern such tours:

Tour Times: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Group tours are not scheduled during weekend operating hours. Tour duration is approximately one hour. Tours are available from March 1 to November 1.

Cost: The group tour fee is $10.00 per person. There is a minimum fee of $75 to schedule a group tour.

Payment: To confirm your reservation a deposit check or credit card payment of $75.00 is required and must be received at least 30 days prior to the reserved tour date. The deposit will be applied to the total admission charge for the group tour. Group tour deposits are non- refundable. The balance of the tour fee is due on the day of the tour.

Confirmation: Please call the museum offices to reconfirm the tour date at least two weeks prior to the tour.

Cancellation: If a tour must be canceled, please notify the Museum Business Offices at least 48 hours in advance by calling (323) 225-2700, extension 224, Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. If the tour is canceled within 48 hours of the tour date, the tour deposit will be considered a charitable contribution to Heritage Square Museum. Any additional payments will be refunded within 10 business days. If requested, the group tour may be rescheduled for a future date. Heritage Square Museum reserves the right to cancel any portion of the guided tour as circumstances warrant such as bad or unsafe weather conditions. In such an event, the tour will be rescheduled for a later date, if requested.

School Tours and Special Groups: Advance arrangements for school tours (K through 6), camera clubs, art & photography classes, lectures, meetings, and other special events must be made through the Heritage Square Business Office. For further information, contact our business office at (323) 225-2700, extension 224, Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

∗Groups with more than 15 participants should expect to be divided into smaller group. The museum is located at 3800 Homer Street, approximately three miles north of at Avenue 43 exit off the 110 (formerly the Pasadena Freeway).

Rules and Regulations:

If Lost or Late: Please call the Heritage Square Museum Business Office at (323) 225-2700, ext. 222 if you know you will be late. If late please be prepared for the possibility of a shortened program or cancellation of the tour. Plan to arrive with sufficient time to park and unload your vehicle(s) to ensure your tour begins at the scheduled time.

Photography: In order to preserve the Museum’s artifacts, interior photography is strictly prohibited in any building at Heritage Square. Photographs or drawings made of building exteriors or the grounds must be for personal, not commercial, use. Those who wish to take photographs must sign the museum’s Graphic Arts Agreement located in the Museum Store before the tour begins. Advance written permission from the museum business office is required for commercial photography, videotaping, and/or movie production and will include location and staffing fees.

Accessibility: Individuals with limited mobility may encounter difficulties at Heritage Square due to ongoing restoration work, uneven walking surfaces, and gravel road. Wheelchair accessibility is limited. Please call for more detailed information.

No Smoking: There is NO SMOKING permitted anywhere at Heritage Square Museum.

Animals: Service animals are permitted on the Museum grounds. NO Pets are allowed on Museum property.
