TERROIR It is the largest A.O.C which stretches out three villages: Aloxe-Corton, Pernand- Vergelesses and Ladoix-Serrigny, forming la Butte de Corton. The geological differences and the different exposures permit to produce rich and fat wines with mineral and crystalline overtones. L’ABUS D’ALCOOL EST DANGEREUX POUR LA SANTÉ. À CONSOMMER AVEC MODÉRATION. YET08E REVIEWS AND AWARDS 93pts "Mostly from Aloxe-Corton with some Pernand-Vergelesses fruit. Clear, fresh pale and attractive. Power from the start, stone behind. how complex. Certainly this is a fine racy lively exemple, with good body through the middle and fine persistance. A little bit of flesh, not the stoniest." Jasper Morris, Jasper Morris, 01/02/2019

01/12/19 "This walled vineyard, the , has produced a broad, ripe wine, dense with fruitiness and spice from wood aging. The finish is fresh, crisp and CORTON-CHARLEMAGNEtextured. This deliciously structured Grand wine will be Cru ready from2017 2021." Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast, 01/12/2019

92pts "The 2017 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru is showing well, offering up aromas of citrus oil, Anjou pear, hazelnut cream and fresh pastry, followed by a medium to full-bodied, elegantly textural palate that’s lively and quite tight knit, with creditable concentration, racy acids and a precise finish. This can’t match the depth and dimension of the house’s «Récolte du Domaine» bottlings, but it’s a fine effort that should develop well in the cellar." William Kelley, Wine Advocate, 27/11/2019

94pts "This shows reserved power, with vibrant acidity driving the lemon, apple, oak spice and stone flavors. Delivers fine balance and energy, revealing a lingering aftertaste of lemon and mineral." Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator, 01/04/2020
