  • General Catalog 2021
TERRY’S COMICS Welcome to Catalog number twenty-four. Thank you to everyone who ordered from one or more of our previous catalogs and especially Gold and Platinum customers. Please be patient when you call if we are not here, we promise to get back to you as soon as possible. Our normal hours are Monday through Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM Pacific Time. You can always send e-mail requests and we will reply as soon as we are able. All comics that are stickered below $10 have been omitted as well as paperbacks, Digests, Posters and Artwork and Magazines. I also removed the mid-grade/priced issue if there were more than two copies, if you do not see a middle grade of an issue number, just ask for it. They are available on the regular website www.terryscomics.com. If you are looking for non-key comics from the 1980's to present, please send us your want list as we have most every issue from the past 35 years in our warehouse. We have been fortunate to still have acquired some amazing comics during this past challenging year. What is left from the British Collection of Pre-code Horror/Sci-Fi selection, has been regraded and repriced according to the current market. 2021 started off great with last year’s catalog and the 1st four Comic book conventions. Unfortunately, after mid- March all the conventions have been cancelled. We still managed to do a couple of mini conventions between lockdowns and did a lot of buying on a trip through several states as far east as Ohio.

LGBTQ+ GUIDE TO COMIC-CON@HOME 2021 Compiled by Andy Mangels Edited by Ted Abenheim Collage created by Sean (PXLFORGE) Brennan Character Key on pages 3 and 4 Images © Respective Publishers, Creators and Artists Prism logo designed by Chip Kidd PRISM COMICS is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501c3 organization championing LGBTQ+ diversity and inclusion in comics and popular media. Founded in 2003, Prism supports queer and LGBTQ-friendly comics professionals, readers, educators and librarians through its website, social networking, booths and panel presentations at conventions. Prism Comics also presents the annual Prism Awards for excellence in queer comics in collaboration with the Queer Comics Expo and The Cartoon Art Museum. Visit us at prismcomics.org or on Facebook - facebook.com/prismcomics WELCOME We miss conventions! We miss seeing comics fans, creators, pros, panelists, exhibitors, cosplayers and the wonderful Comic-Con staff. You’re all family, and we hope everyone had a safe and productive 2020 and first half of 2021. In the past year and a half we’ve seen queer, BIPOC, AAPI and other marginalized communities come forth with strength, power and pride like we have not seen in a long time. In the face of hate and discrimination we at Prism stand even more strongly for the principles of diversity and equality on which the organization was founded. We stand with the Black, Asian American and Pacific Islander, Indigenous, Latinx, Transgender communities and People of Color - LGBTQ+ and allies - in advocating for inclusion and social justice. Comics, graphic novels and arts are very powerful mediums for marginalized voices to be heard.

Despite the strength of their holds, they underestimate OMAC and he breaks everyone free. Booster's future-self enters the clubhouse as an A. So the bomb does some major damage, taking out 4 of the team members from Vol. Then, just when I was prepared to give this a 1-star rating and call it a day, the last few pages redeemed the book slightly. And to make it worse, the ditsy one that flips her hair around becomes completely defined by her sexual relationship with Booster Gold!!! I've always been a fan of Booster Gold, but Guy Is my least favorite Green Lantern, and none of the other team members are memorable.

BECKY GINOS NSL considers renovation of Hatch Park by Becky GINOS [email protected] NORTH SALT LAKE — Hatch Park has been serving the community for many years on Center Street in North Salt Lake. As part of the city’s Town Center project is an expansion of the park. “It’s a great project,” said City Manager Ken Leetham. ‘We’ve been buying properties around Hatch Park and hiring firms to make plans on the expansion. There will be three concept plans and cost estimates that will go out to the public.” There are several steps that have to take place, he said. “The concept plan, resident input and then it will go to the city council. In February or March the city council will find ways to pay for the expansion and identify funding. Then it will go out for bid. It’s a multi-phase project.” The city is renting out some of the houses in the area, Leetham said. “We’ll have to take those down to expand and make improvements. We’ve had some ideas such as reconfiguring the park- ing and construction of a community building that might serve as a senior center or library.” It’s been a long time coming, he said.
