Are You New To Hockey In Edmonton?
Hockey Edmonton has twenty-six associations across the city, each with their own established boundaries that offer hockey programs in various divisions and tiers of play.
Your MHA will depend on your residential address and can be verified for you by the various association Registrars. Along with their respective websites the Registrars have a wealth of available program information, fees, requirements, etc.
Divisions of Play

What organization do I register with?
Generally, a player’s residence as of September 1st of the hockey season will determine where the player registers. The associations Registrars can help you verify this. In addition, the respective websites have a wealth of program information on fees, requirements, etc.
Hockey Edmonton is divided into geographic Districts, each of which have one or more Operating Areas that program for Edmonton youth – male and female.
The vast majority of our players play within leagues operated by the Edmonton Federation Hockey League.

The District and Operating Area boundaries are:
Northwest District North of the North Saskatchewan River and West of 11 Street Exclusive of the communities known as Rossdale, Spruce Avenue, Westwood, Rosslyn, and Griesbach. In addition from 137 Avenue North on 113 A Street and 153 Avenue then West of 97 Street and North to the City Limits.
Hawks Athletic Club service the portion of NWZ north of the Stony Plain Road and the McKinnon Ravine and west of 101 Street in the City of Edmonton, including the communities known as Athlone, Baturyn, Britannia Youngstown, Caernarvon, Calder, Canora, Carlisle, Central McDougall, Cumberland/Oxford, Dovercourt, Downtown Edmonton, Dunluce, Glenora, Grovenor, High Park, Inglewood, Jasper Park, Kensington, Lauderdale, Lorelei/Beaumaris, Mayfield, McCauley, McQueen, North Glenora, Oliver, Prince Charles, Prince Rupert, Queen Mary Park, Sherbrooke, Wellington Park, Westmount, and Woodcroft

Northeast District
North of the North Saskatchewan River and East of 101 Street Inclusive of the communities known as Rossdale, Spruce Avenue, Westwood, Rosslyn, and Griesbach In addition from 137 Avenue North on 113 A Street and 153 Avenue then East of 97 Street and North to the City Limits and Edmonton Garrison Base Residents DND personnel registering with a CRA number must register with Edmonton Garrison and are subject to player movement guidelines. DND personnel residing in districts other than Northeast must register in the district where they reside.
Brave Raiders service the following communities of Bannerman, Evergreen, Fraser, Hairsine, Homesteader, Horsehill, South Clareview, and Miller.
Eagles service the following communities: Edmonton Garrison, Evansdale, Kilkenny, Lago Lindo, Londonderry, McLeod, Northmount, and Steele Heights
Northstars service the following communities: Alberta Avenue, Balwin, Beacon Heights, Bellevue, Belvedere, Beverly Heights, Boyle Street, Delton, Delwood, Eastwood, Elmwood Park, Glengarry, Griesbach, Highlands, Killarney, Montrose, Newton, Parkdale/Cromdale, Riverdale, Rossdale, Rosslyn, Spruce Avenue, and Westwood

Southwest District
South of the North Saskatchewan River and West of the CPR railroad tracks Inclusive of the community Scona Centre
Confederation Hockey services all areas EAST of the Whitemud Creek within the SWZ Hockey boundaries. The communities are: Allard, Allendale, Aspen Gardens, Bearspaw, Belgravia, Blackburne, Blackmud Creek, Blue Quill, Blue Quill Estates, Callaghan, Chappelle, Desrochers (Village at), Duggan, Empire Park, Ermineskin, Garneau, Grandview Heights, Graydon Hill, Greenfield, Heritage Valley, Jagre Ridge, Keheewin, Lansdowne, Lendrum, MacEwan, Malmo, McKernan, Paisley, Parkallen, Pleasantview, Queen Alexandra, Richford, Rideau Park, Royal Gardens, Rutherford, Rutherford Heights, Skyrattler, Southbrook, Steinhauer, Strathcona, Sweet Grass, Twin Brooks, Westbrook Estates, Windsor Park, and Yellowbird.
SWAT services all areas WEST of the Whitemud Creek within the SWZ Hockey boundaries. The communities are: Brander Gardens, Brookview, Brookside, Bulyea Heights, Eagle Ridge, Falconer, Heights, Ogilvie Ridge, Promitory Point, Ramsay Heights, Riverbend, River Ridge, Rhatigan Park, Terwilligar, Terwilligar Towne, The Ridge, Windermere, and Whitemud Oaks.
Southeast District
South of the North Saskatchewan River and East of the CPR railroad tracks
Exclusive of the community Scona Centre
Millwoods services the communities of: Burnewood, Ellerslie, Fulton Meadows. Knottwood, Lakewood, Leefield, Millhurst, North Millbourne, Ridgewood, Southwood, Summerside, The Meadows, and Woodvale.
North Seera services the area that is south of the North Saskatchewan River, east of the C.P.R. railroad tracks along 103 Street and North of 51st Avenue. Communities include: Argyll, Avonmore, Bonnie Doon, Capilano, Cloverdale, Forest Heights/Terrace Heights, Fulton Place, Gold Bar, Hazeldean, Holyrood, Idylwylde, Kenilworth, King Edward Park, Ottewell, Ritchie, Strathearn and Twin Parks.
Knights of Columbus Hockey Association
Operates hockey programs for male and females on a city wide basis. KC Hockey operate both a House and Rep programs. Their General Boundaries are:
St. Matthew boundaries are north of the river to northern city limit and east of 97 Street to eastern city limit St. Charles boundaries are north of the river to northern city limit and west of 97 street to Mark Messier Trail KC West boundaries are north of the river to northern city limit and west of Mark Messier Trail to western city limit SouthWest KC boundaries are south of the river to southern city limit and west of Highway 2 to western city limit KC Knights Southside boundaries are south of the river to southern city limit and east of Highway 2 to eastern city limit KC Sabres run at the bantam and midget House Programs KC Rep run the tier 1 and/or 2 programs in Novice, Atom and Peewee

Edmonton Girls Hockey Association
Operates female only teams on a city wide basis.
Recreational Hockey League
Operates teams that play one game a week in Bantam and Midget for all city residents.
Registration
All new registrants: • have the choice of registering with the District / Operating Area in which they reside OR registering with the Knights of Columbus, Edmonton Girls Hockey Association or Recreational Hockey League.
• will need to: 1. Provide a copy of your child's birth certificate and/or passport.
2. Provide proof of residency A Parent Declaration, and A utility bill with your name and current address on it.
3. Have at least one parent complete the Respect In Sport program
Most of our association have online registration process that are well documented on their website. In the Registrars list below there are website and email hyperlinks in the association and name fields.
