The meet will be in the McNeese State Indoor Recreation Complex. The field events get underway at 11 a.m. and running events start at 4:30 p.m. It will be the third meet for some of the Javelina competitors. A limited number of the squad was at the Pittsburg (Kan.) State Invitational and some of the team was in the Texas A&M Invitational in College Station. After the early competition, several of the Javelinas had posted the best marks in the Lone Star Conference going into last weekend’s meets.. Ayman Zahafi, freshman from Casablanca, Morocco, had the best time in the 800-meter run (1:53.91) and Ricardo Medrano led in the 3000- meter run (8:49.97). The men’s 1600-meter relay team had a best time of 3:24.51.
