Missouri City Development Services Department Development Report Period of 3/2/2020 through 3-31-2020 The City of Missouri City Development Services Department would like to wish everyone well and safety during this unprecedented pandemic. We appreciate the patience and cooperation of our residents and development professionals who have been very kind to work with, during our interim operations and front counter closure. Our development reviewing team have been working diligently, both remotely and in-office, to assure that the process of plan review continues, even in the time of social distancing. Virtual public hearings and pre-development meetings are being made possible on an ongoing basis. We are pleased to provide the Development Report for the period beginning Development Report Period of 3/2/2020 through 3-31-2020. March’s highlights include the following: ******************************************************************************* Development Report - Report provides permit activity, fees and values, Nonresidential Certificates of Occupancy (CO) report (Excel spreadsheets). Permit Activity: Building Permits: 2034 permits were issued to-date for FY2020, ( 361 permits were issued in March), with an estimated $11,256,020.41 in project valuation for March noted; (estimates were at $144,653,856.35 for fiscal year valuation to-date); and $217,353.82 was collected in fees in March; and for the new fiscal year to date, $1,483,148.64 was collected in permit fees for FY2020. Alarm Permits: A total of 592 alarm payments were processed during March, with fees collected of $29,979.25 in December, and $166,674.25 was collected in fees totaling for the FY2020.
