Dear Secretariat – DGR,

I appreciate that you will be listening to public input.

Summary of my input;

I have complete support for the Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) and I feel completely safe with this organization doing this on the Bruce site in Tiverton Ontario Canada, They are the best trained, educated, equipped and I trust this organizations more than anyone else In the world! I would feel safe being in my backyard that having a transfer anywhere else.

My background;

My nuclear power started in 1976 in NPD Rolphton,Ontario plus I also there as a summer student doing a Service Maintainer where I started knowing about Contamination and Waste. After the ongoing years of working different jobs Ontario Hydro and then Bruce Power I spent time at several stations from NPD, Darlington and Bruce Site ;Bruce A&B, Heavy water, Central Site,Centeral Maintenance and WNTC. I have Green Badge in all of the sites and I have taken all radiation protection courses and level one Systems at NPD. I was always impressed with public and staff safety was always number one. With the job within safety system I reviewed all maintenance on safety system and modiﬁcations I reported to the regulation Departments.

I have had to wear plastics I work in the boiler room. While working in the planning section I scheduled all maintenance and safety system tests this again gave me the respect for the design of Candu reactor. With the business section time I worked on budgets cost reporting and ﬁnancial reporting.

I provide a employee perspective of the way these sites at look at waste and treated with respect.

I also feel very comfortable living in this area withe my three children and 4 grandchildren.
