Hearse to leave Mater Dei Hospital to Xintill Str .

1530 hrs

The coffin will be placed in family Mintoff’s private residence in Xintill Str Tarxien where the family convenes.

1600 hrs

The coffin of the late Mr. Dom Mintoff will be carried from his residence to the hearse. The hearse leaves towards Tarxien Parish Church, where the Mayor Mr. Paul Farrugia, the Local Council members and PL committee will pay tribute. Thereafter, the funeral proceeds to .

Arrival of the hearse in front of Senglea Parish Church where Mayor of Senglea Mr. Justin Camilleri, the Local Council Members, PL Senglea Committee and Band La Vincitrice will lead the funeral cortege, through Victory street next to Senglea Band Club.

1650 hrs

The hearse, leaves through Victory Street to Triq ix-Xatt, towards il-Macina, proceeding to Vittoriosa Xatt ir-Risq.

1705 hrs

Arrival of the hearse in front of Freedom Monument Vittoriosa where, Mary Spiteri pays tribute, by singing Tema’ 79.

Cortege accompanied by Vittoriosa Mayor Mr. John Boxall and the Local Council members, Vittoriosa PL Committee and St. Lawrence Band, where it proceeds to Victory Square.

1725 hrs

Cortege proceeds from Victory Square to Maingate Street, accompanied by the Prince of Wales Own Band.

1740 hrs

The hearse leaves from Vittoriosa to , accompanied by Mayor Mr. Michael Cohen, local council members, Kalkara PL committee and Kalkara band clubs i.e. Circolo San Giuseppe Filarmonika Sagra Familja and Ghaqda Muzikali San Guzepp.

1755 hrs

Arrival of the hearse in front of PL Club in Cospicua. The Archpriest Rev. Joe Mifsud, Cospicua Mayor Mr. Joe Scerri, local council members, Cospicua PL committee, and St. George’s Band, lead the funeral cortege towards Cospicua Parish Church.

1805 hrs

White doves signifying peace will be released in front of St. George’s Band Club. The coffin rests for a short pause in front of St. George’s Band Club, where the late Mr. Mintoff served as President of the same band club for more than fifty years.

1815 hrs

The Archpriest Rev. Joe Mifsud will lead the funeral congregation to the Collegiate Church Cospicua, accompanied by the Collegiate Church Chapter and Clergy, Parish Priest Gordon Refalo and Fr. Mark Montebello.

1830 hrs

The coffin will be carried on shoulders from the Collegiate Church to the hearse, and leaves Cospicua to Marsa.

Arrival of the hearse in Balbi Street Marsa, where the Mayor Mr. Chris Spiteri, Local Counsil Members, Marsa PL committee, and Mass Band consisting of representatives of Ghaqda Muzikali Marija Regina and Banda Trinita Qaddisa. It then proceeds towards Marsa Holy Trinity Church, and thereafter the hearse leaves to Blata l-Bajda .

1905 hrs

Arrival of the hearse in St. Joseph High Street Hamrun in front of ex-Radio City entrance where, Hamrun Mayor Mr. Vince Bonello, local council members, Hamrun PL committee, representatives of Ghaqda tal-Muzika San Gejtanu Band Club and Ghaqda Muzikali San Guzepp Band Club, will pay tribute.

1910 hrs

The funeral cortege accompanied by Banda tal-Partit Laburista proceeds to Schembri Street and Milend Street, to Labour Party Head Quarters.

1920 hrs

Arrival of the hearse in front of the Labour Party Headquarters. The coffin will be lifted and carried on shoulders, where the Labour Party Leadership, Administration, National Executive Council, Parliamentary Group and Local Committees will pay tribute.

1925 hrs

Soprano Claire Caruana to pay tribute by singing Aria from Rock Opera Gensna.

1930 hrs

Hearse proceeds to Palace.

Arrival of the Hearse at City Gate Valletta, where Valletta Mayor Dr. Alexei , local council members, Valletta PL committee, and Socjeta` Filarmonica Nazzionale La Vallette Band, and King’s Own Ban will accompany the funeral cortege through Republic Street to the Presidential Palace.

2030 hrs

The cortege arrives in front of the Presidential Palace where the coffin will be laid in the main entrance.
