Don’t worry about noise, this is a service for all the family! The service will finish at 11.00am. Please ask our welcome team (who gave you this sheet) if you need help at any point. PRAYER FOCUS - Thursday 10 October, 7.45pm coffee, Prayer meeting from 8 - 9.15pm. Join us to pray for the life and needs of our church. We will begin with a time of sung worship, thanksgiving and encouragement from scripture. Prayer topics will include: Southern’s ministry in Mallorca & Rector recruitment process & outreach courses. 421 YOUTH GROUP - Fridays, 7.30 – 9.00pm – games, craft and Bible study for 11-18 yrs. in the JOB. See invite cards for further details. C2 LEADERSHIP SAFEGUARDING TRAINING: All those serving with children and youth, home visitation or on the PCC need to complete the C2 safeguarding module. There is an opportunity to attend this face-to-face training, on Saturday, 12 October—9.30am at St John’s Church, St John’s Close, Colchester CO4 0HP. GROWTH GROUPS meet during the week providing regular space for Christian friendship, prayer and discussion of God’s Word. We currently have six groups meeting in Fordham, Wivenhoe, Colchester and Aldham (including a ladies day time group in Fordham). If you would like to join a group, please contact the church office. FIRST AID COURSE – We are running this course in the New Year for all those who would like to use this training in support of their work in the church, whether you are taking the course for the first time or renewing your certificate. If you are interested please contact the church office for further information and register your interest. SORTED 2019 – Saturday 16th November – 10.30am – 4.30pm. A day of Bible teaching about Jesus and our relationship with him from Romans 8 - for Youth Groups 14-18 yrs and their leaders. Venue is Westminster Chapel, Buckingham Gate, London SW1E 6BS. Everything needed for the day will be provided but please bring your own lunch. Tickets are £13 for the event (£11 if ordered before the 1st October.)
