As D300’s Director of Innovation and Digital Learning, Anne implemented the 1:1 device program in 2015, facilitates digital learning in all content areas, and assists students in understanding how digital tools can be used responsibly. Prior to joining D300, Anne was a former MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), a Social Studies teacher and Blended Learning Department Chair. She will be sharing a wealth of knowledge about Social Media Safety. The information provided will be relevant to a broad audience including educators and parents. Gilberts Elementary School’s second grade class will share their music program with you NEXT WEEK (Oct. 25th, 6:00 p.m. @GES)! Here are some last minute reminders:  Students should come to school on the day of the program wearing their attire for the show: blue jeans with a solid black shirt (no patterns, pictures, or writing) AND A ! I would love for each child to be wearing a hat since that’s the theme of our program!  The gym doors will open at 5:30 p.m. on the evening of our program. Please keep your child with you until 5:40 p.m. No one is to be on the stage.  All 2nd graders will meet me and their teachers at 5:40 p.m. in the multi- purpose room to get lined up and warmed up for the show. Please do not send them to the multi-purpose room early as the doors will be locked.  Below is another copy of the DVD order form in case you would like to purchase one. Order forms and money should be given to our secretaries in the main office for safe keeping.  If there is an emergency, please call or email to let me know why your child will not be at the program.
