The 400th championship race win came up with Whincup’s victory at the Tasmania Challenge at Symmons Plains, Holden’s total more than 100 ahead of series rival Ford. The landmark 400th victory was also the 350th win for Commodore since it made its series debut in 1980, while at press time VE had won an incredible 83 of those races making it the most successful model in the 51 year history of the ATCC/ V8SC.
