Date rape is defined as “sexual intercourse forced by the victim’s social escort” while statutory rape is defined Jeff Piper teaches his seventh period ceramics art class as sexual intercourse between two persons, one below the age of legal consent. following his field trip to the Butler Art Institute. Statutory rape is not always forced, causing many people to wonder whether pregnancies resulting from this form of rape will be banned. If these forms of rape are not included in the exception to the bill, many females of child-bearing age will be denied abortions caused by scarring events. In addition to possibly having to deal with depression or other conditions cause by rape, these women may also be saddled with unwanted children that can greatly affect their lives. Many people speculate that if the bill is passed, women will turn to illegal and possibly dangerous sources for their abortions. Anti-abortion laws may not necessarily curb abortions and could make abortion more risky for women. Most abortions are performed in sterile clinics under safe conditions with limited harm to the mother; however, this may not be true if abortions are outlawed.

  • A1 Fire Behavior Analysis
Fire Behavior Analysis Fire activity began to escalate in northern California on June 21, 2008 when a major lightning event affected the Northern California Geographic Coordination Area (North Ops). The July 22, 2008 National Situation Report identified 602 new fires in northern California. Throughout the remainder of June and into July fire activity remained heavy in northern California. The Siskiyou Complex on the Klamath National Forest came under the leadership of a Type II Incident Management Team on June 23, 2008. Between this date and the staffing of the Panther Fire, the forest managed a variety of other large fires including the Gould Fire, No Man‘s Fire and the Bear Wallow Complex. These fires were all located on the Happy Camp/Oak Knoll Ranger District of the forest. Fire danger indices for the Northwest Predictive Services Area (PSA) showed that ERCs were tracking near the 90th percentile most of July, while 1000-hour fuels moistures were above the 10th percentile, but were well below historic averages for this time of year. Figure 1. Energy Release Component and 1000-hour fuel moisture trends for the Northwestern Predictive Services Area. The Northwest PSA is representative of the Panther fire area. Information obtained from the Pocket Card for the western portion of the Klamath National Forest, including the Panther fire area, identified local thresholds for potential increasing fire activity as: Temperature 85°F or greater Relative humidity 20% or less Twenty-foot winds greater than 4mph and One-thousand hour fuel moistures less than 15% The 1000-hour fuel moisture and 20-foot winds exceeded these thresholds on the Panther Fire.

Mexican origin Youth and the Gang Context: Social Identities and School Experiences Abstract Youth, gang involved or not, living in a community with a gang problem are impacted in various ways. This study draws from qualitative interviews over the transition to high school of thirty-two Mexican origin students in Chicago. The Extended Case Method (ECM) was employed for the analysis of the qualitative data. Using borderlands and social identity theory, results indicated that the school response to the youth gang problem directly impacted students’ educational experiences, how staff viewed them, and how they negotiated these social categorizations. Students reported unrecognized trauma due to the level of violence and marginalizing experiences in school.

  • Rating the Packers: Week 6 at Dolphins
Rating the Packers: Week 6 at Dolphins By Bob McGinn – Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel Posted: Oct. 14, 2014 Green Bay - When the Green Bay Packers fell behind for the first time Sunday, Mike McCarthy's very next call when the offense took the field was an end-around with Randall Cobb. The crowd at Sun Life Stadium got about as loud as it was when cagey defensive end Cameron Wake wasn't fooled and Cobb was buried after gaining 1 yard. Only 9 minutes remained and Miami led, 24-17. McCarthy brings out a trick play about once every other year. No doubt the fans and perhaps the Dolphins were thinking, "The Packers are desperate. We've got them on the run. What will they try next?" From that point forward, it became the Aaron Rodgers show, and when the curtain fell the Packers owned one of their more rewarding victories under McCarthy. Here's a rating of the Packers in their 27-24 triumph, with their 1 to 5 football totals in parentheses: RECEIVERS (4½) One play after the reverse, the Packers faced third and 9. The Dolphins rushed only three and on the right outside competitive little CB Brent Grimes had Jordy Nelson blanketed. Not liking what he was seeing, Rodgers took three or four steps to his right. Immediately, Nelson burst away from the unsuspecting Grimes and Rodgers almost casually flipped it to him for 22 yards. On the final drive, DE Olivier Vernon beat David Bakhtiari inside even though it was another three-man rush. With Vernon bearing down preparing to smack him down frontally in what would be 2.9 seconds, all Rodgers had going was the complete confidence Nelson would be open.
