The Project seeks to identify the various factors which led to the growth of the resorts and explores what makes each resort different in character and potential. In addition to an overall analysis of the ‘life cycle’ of each resort, the Project characterises the spatial urban growth and presents the findings via a series of chronologically based GIS generated maps.
