Partners and Funders The Dynamic Dunescapes project wouldn't be possible without our partners and funders Dynamic Dunescapes is a £10m partnership project between 7 organisations and is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the EU LIFE Programme, and the project partners. Our partners Work at each of our dune sites is supported and managed by one or two of our project partners. We work closely to ensure that learnings and support are shared Natural England Natural England is the government’s adviser for the natural environment in England, helping to protect England’s nature and landscapes for people to enjoy and for the services they provide, by creating partnerships for nature's recovery. It is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by DEFRA. Visit Natural England’s website Plantlife Plantlife works nationally and internationally to celebrate and save threatened wild flora and landscapes. In partnership with landowners, conservation organisations, businesses, local communities and governments, the charity conserves our rarest species and ensures familiar flowers thrive. Visit Plantlife’s website National Trust National Trust is an independent charity and membership organisation for environmental and heritage conservation in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, looking after the places you love, from houses and buildings to the coast and countryside. Visit National Trust’s website Natural Resources Wales Natural Resources Wales are a Welsh Government Sponsored Body, looking after our environment for people and nature. NRW ensure that the natural resources of Wales are sustainably maintained, enhanced and used, now and in the future. Visit Natural Resources Wales’ website Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, one of the oldest of the Wildlife Trusts, cares for nearly 100 nature reserves from the Humber to the Wash, giving wildlife a voice, and inspiring people to take action for wildlife. Visit Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust’s website Cornwall Wildlife Trust Cornwall Wildlife Trusts is a charity that exists to protect wildlife and wild places. The Trust owns 57 nature reserves across Cornwall, leads a variety of ambitious projects for the protection of wildlife on land and in our waters and has a membership of over 17,000 people – all of which gives nature the best chance to thrive. Visit Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s website Cumbria Wildlife Trust Cumbria Wildlife Trust is the only voluntary organisation devoted solely to the conservation of the wildlife and wild places of Cumbria. The Trust stands up for wildlife, creates wildlife havens, and seeks to raise environmental awareness. Formed in 1962, the Trust cares for over 38 nature reserves you can visit, campaigns for the protection of endangered habitats and species such as limestone pavements and red squirrels, and works with adults and children to discover the importance of the natural world. Visit Cumbria Wildlife Trust’s website Our funders Dynamic Dunescapes is funded until September 2023 by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the EU LIFE Programme, and the project partners. The National Lottery Heritage Fund Dynamic Dunescapes is supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The National Lottery Heritage Fund is the largest dedicated funder of heritage in the UK, distributing National Lottery grants, funding projects that sustain and transform the UK's heritage, providing leadership and support across the heritage sector, and advocate for the value of heritage. Visit National Lottery Heritage Fund’s website The EU LIFE Programme Dynamic Dunescapes is supported by the LIFE Programme (DuneLIFE: LIFE17 NAT/UK/000570). The LIFE programme began in 1992 and has to date co-financed more than 5,400 projects. Until 2013, LIFE had contributed approximately €3.1 billion to the protection of the environment.
