A Christian may be a millionaire as the bank teller counts but bankrupt as the Lord counts (or vice versa). Such is the vertical dimension of money. Steve Daily finds that in Bible times a significant portion of the tithe was assigned for use by the Douglas and Patricia Ewing priests in their home communities, and suggests that as a model for the church today. White Estate, Fred Veltman of Pacific Union College documented more than twenty writers from Janis and Richard Larsen whom she borrowed more or less extensively in writing that book.
