NOTICE OF ELECTION PREFERENTIAL PRIMARY NONPARTISAN JUDICIAL GENERAL & COUNTYWIDE SPECIAL ELECTION TUESDAY, MAY 22, 2012

The Board of Election Commissioners of Washington County, , pursuant to Arkansas election law 7-5- 202, does hereby proclaim that a Preferential Primary and Nonpartisan Judicial General and Countywide Special Election will be held in Washington County, Arkansas, on Tuesday, May 22, 2012.

To check your voter registration status and find your polling place go to www.voterview.org. If your voter registration has changed and if you have questions concerning your eligibility to vote, or don’t have access to the internet, please call the County Clerk’s office at 444-1711 prior to Election Day.

Absentee ballots will be opened, and processed beginning at 9:00 a.m. on May 22, 2012 in the Northeast Conference Room on the 5th floor of the Washington County Courthouse. The absentee and early ballots will be tabulated beginning at 6 p.m. in the Quorum Court Room of the Washington County Courthouse. Those results will not be reported until after 7:30 p.m.

The Election Day Ballots from the precincts listed above will be counted beginning after 7:30 p.m., also in the Quorum Court Room of the Washington County Courthouse.

Handicapped persons having problems at the polling site ask supervisor for assistance or call 444-1766.
