Elle souhaite lui donner un prolongement opérationnel par l’élaboration d’un plan d’actions régional intégré (PARI). Le maître d’ouvrage (MO), en l’occurrence le conseil régional de l’oriental (CRO), appuyé par ses différents partenaires (la Wilaya, la DGCL, l’ADO, l’IR), s’inscrit, donc, dans le respect des dispositions prévues par les textes législatifs et réglementaires en la matière. A la faveur des orientations royales préconisant la recherche du nouveau modèle de développement, la région de l’Oriental entend élaborer un SRAT prenant en considération la vision globale, avec l’élaboration et la mise en place des mécanismes et des projets nécessaires, permettant de faire face aux déséquilibres entre la partie Nord et la partie Sud de la région et entre le milieu urbain et le milieu rural, et ce dans le cadre d’un développement durable et intégré. Dans ces conditions, le SRAT de la région de l’Oriental, constituera un socle opérationnel dans la mise en œuvre du nouveau modèle de développement recherché, en mettant en relief notamment les nombreuses potentialités et ressources humaines et naturelles de la région, tout en tenant compte de son caractère transfrontalier et de l’ambition d’en faire un pôle de croissance et de développement euro-méditerranéen, voire continental. Dans cet esprit, l’étude du SRAT prendra en compte les évolutions positives enregistrées dans l’économie de la région au cours des dernières années, qu’il convient de consolider et de compléter à la faveur des besoins actuels et ceux à venir à l’horizon 2040. Sur le plan de la démarche, l’étude d’élaboration du SRAT sera fondée sur une large concertation avec l’ensemble des acteurs de la région, tout en prenant en compte, les propositions émanant des différentes structures élues, administratives, des établissements publics et des opérateurs et organismes concernés (société civile, secteur privé, …). Sur le plan méthodologique, il sera tenu compte des études réalisées et des documents relatifs à la région (SDAR, PDR, SNDD, …). Le groupement utilisera les données disponibles les

In Morocco, Leishmania infantum species is the main causative agents of visceral leishmaniasis (VL). However, cutaneous leishmaniasis (CL) due to L. infantum has been reported sporadically. Moreover, the recent geographical expansion of L. infantum in the Mediterranean subregion leads us to suggest whether the nonsporadic cases of CL due to this species are present. In this context, this review is written to establish a retrospective study of cutaneous and visceral leishmaniasis in northern Morocco between 1997 and 2018 and also to conduct a molecular study to identify the circulating species responsible for the recent cases of leishmaniases in this region.

    Herpetology Notes, volume 14: 1-14 (2021) (published online on 08 January 2021) Checklist of amphibians and reptiles of Morocco: A taxonomic update and standard Arabic names Abdellah Bouazza1,*, El Hassan El Mouden2, and Abdeslam Rihane3,4 Abstract. Morocco has one of the highest levels of biodiversity and endemism in the Western Palaearctic, which is mainly attributable to the country’s complex topographic and climatic patterns that favoured allopatric speciation. Taxonomic studies of Moroccan amphibians and reptiles have increased noticeably during the last few decades, including the recognition of new species and the revision of other taxa. In this study, we provide a taxonomically updated checklist and notes on nomenclatural changes based on studies published before April 2020. The updated checklist includes 130 extant species (i.e., 14 amphibians and 116 reptiles, including six sea turtles), increasing considerably the number of species compared to previous recent assessments. Arabic names of the species are also provided as a response to the demands of many Moroccan naturalists. Keywords. Pollution, ecosystem and habitat degradation, biodiversity loss (sixth great extinction) are all problems that it is urgent to solve. Some of them, due to their speed and extension, can lead to irreversible damages to the environment. It is in this context that are placed impact assessments on the environment that serve as a backdrop to the analysis of environmental issues. Trends in the environmental impact assessment consist of (1) a strong penetration of the concepts and tools from the theory of information and information technology. Modeling and geographic information system increase the scope, validity and predictive power of impact studies (2) an interpretation of the dynamics of environmental phenomena that highlights the natural potential of lands, the causes of their fragility, their degradation level, and the dynamic processes that are exerted on the lands. Taking into account this dynamics allows the assessment of cumulative effects which is in turn the basis for the pursuit of sustainable development (3) an increasing participation of concerned populations. According to this international movement, the Moroccan mountain, which is densely populated, heavily exploited but extremely marginalized, should be better valued and benefit from a significant boost.

    HIS MAJESTY THE KING MOHAMMED VI, MAY GOD ASSIST HIM Annual Report of the Public Finance Court For the year 2015 Highlights Majesty, For the year 2015, public finance indicators continued the positive trend that started in 2013, due to the improvement of the macro-economic stability of our country. This recovery is driven by several factors, chief of which is the decline in the prices of energy products and the importance of foreign investments and foreign donations. Hence, the budget deficit, again, recorded a decline to settle at 4,4% of GDP as against 4,9% in 2014; 5,1% in 2013 and 7,2% in 2012. This improvement, ascribable to the stability of regular income, in spite of the decline of foreign donations (- 71,7%), benefitted from the rise of tax revenues of 3,8% and the fall of regular expenditure by 3,5%, following the drop in compensation costs by 57,2%. Notwithstanding the improvement of these indicators, the public finance position encountered many difficulties, particularly the high level of Treasury debt whose outstanding amount reached 629,2 billion MAD, or 64,1% of GDP, as against 63,5% in 2014, knowing that the total national debt, including State-guaranteed debt, increased by more than two (2) points of GDP to stand at nearly 81% of GDP. In the same vein, in terms of Treasury payments, a tendency towards the accumulation of arrears was noted. Indeed, VAT debts due to public-owned corporations and companies, excluding the private sector, reached nearly 25.18 billion MAD at the end of 2015, as against 8,7 billion MAD in 2010, which accounts for 48% of VAT revenues reverted to State budget.
