USC junior Stephania Haralabidis (Athens, Greece/Corona Del Mar HS) has scored 55 goals this year entering the NCAA Tournament, ranking second in the MPSF with 2.50 goals per game She has 177 career goals to date, ranking eighth in program history. Haralabidis was named MPSF/KAP7 Player of the Week twice this year (March 1, February 16). She tied a 2016 conference-high seven goals at UC Irvine, and finished off the UCI Invitational with 12 (Feb. 27-28), following a nine-goal UCSD Invitational (Feb. 13- 14) to solidify her first weekly honor. She was also named to the MPSF/KAP 7 All-Tournament team, as the Trojans won their fourth conference title. Haralabidis seeks a third All-American honor this year, and now has two all-conference nods and an all-newcomer award. This is the conference-high 10th MPSF Player of the Year award for USC (Monica Vavic, 2013; , 2010; , 2009; , 2004; Sofia Konoukh, 2001 & 02; Aniko Pelle, 2000; Bernice Orwig, 1997 & 99). 222000111666 MMMPPPSSSFFF NNNeeewwwcccooommmeeerrr ooofff ttthhheee YYYeeeaaarrr KAT KLASS • #10 • FRESHMAN • 2MD/DRIVER • STANFORD

Stanford freshman Kat Klass (Danville, CA/San Ramon Valley HS) picked up four MPSF Newcomer of the Week awards this year, just one shy of the all-time conference record. She ranks eighth in the MPSF in scoring (second amongst all first-year players) with 41 goals and 1.58 goals per game. Klass wasted no time in beginning her collegiate career on opening day against Pacific, putting away a hat trick en route to her first weekly newcomer honor. She went on for a team season-high five goals in an MPSF opening day win at San Jose State (Mar. 5). That scoring effort by Klass was the most by any Stanford player in a conference game since 2014, and the most by a Cardinal freshman since 2013. She has found the back of the cage in a Stanford-high 21 out of 26 games entering the NCAA Tournament. Klass gives Stanford an all-time conference record sixth MPSF Newcomer of the Year recipient (Jordan Raney-2015; - 2012; -2009; Amber Oland-2008; Lauren Silver-2006). 222000111666 MMMPPPSSSFFF CCCoooaaaccchhh ooofff ttthhheee YYYeeeaaarrr JOVAN VAVIC • HEAD COACH • 22ND YEAR • USC

USC head coach Jovan Vavic has guided the Trojans to an unbeaten season entering the NCAA Tournament, while winning a fourth MPSF Championship. The head coach since the program’s inception in 1995, Vavic seeks a fifth national championship on the women’s side. If achieved, the season would also mark the second undefeated season in program history (2004), and the fourth in MPSF history. On April 16, USC snapped Stanford’s 43-game conference win streak, dating back to 2009. The Trojans lead the MPSF in scoring offense and defense, while four players are ranked in the MPSF’s top-10 in goals per game. USC also placed a high of six players on the all-conference teams, three on the first-team. This is the fifth women’s MPSF Coach of the Year award for Vavic (2016, 2013, 2010, 2004, 1999), tying for the most all-time in MPSF Women’s Water Polo. He has a career women’s record of 513-142 (.783) to date.
