The series is designed as a follow-up textbook to the textbook Introduction to Ancient Literature, published by The Puritans’ Home School Curriculum ( www.puritans.net ). Like Introduction to Ancient Literature, the textbook Ancient Literature, Ancient Chronicles is especially prepared for courses taught by Westminster Covenant Academy. It is our conviction that the Bible of the Old and New Testaments is the foundation of all true knowledge. We believe that the literature and chronicles of the peoples of the world, when rightly interpreted, corroborate the veracity and historicity of scripture. Virtually all of the contents of Ancient Literature, Ancient Chronicles are available on the internet. -

Tito Livio XLIII, 3 Y 10S Nomina De 10S Magistrados Monetales De Carteia*
Faventia 1612, 1994 83-109 Tito Livio XLIII, 3 y 10s nomina de 10s magistrados monetales de Carteia* Juan Sebastián Hernández Fernández Universitat Autbnoma de Barcelona. Departament de Filologia Cllssica 08193 Bellaterra (Barcelona). Spain Abstract In this article we have tried to relate the text of Livy XLIII, 3 conceming to Carteia's founda- tion, with the nomina of the monetary magistrates who coin in this latin colony. Our purpose is to observe if the mixed composition which participates in the deductio is reflected in the nature of the survived family names. In that case, these monetary magistrates could be the des- cendants of the first contingents who settled in it: a joining of the roman, italic and indigenous elements.
