Permítenos guiarte por un periplo a través de algunos de los lugares más emblemáticos de Tailandia: Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Phitsanulok, Sukhothai, Lampang, Phayao, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai y Koh Samui, la bella isla donde las playas esconden secretos de arena y mar. Salidas: desde febrero 2021 hasta octubre 2021 Destinos Visitados: Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Phitsanulok, Sukhothai, Lampang, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai y Ko Samui. Categorías: Naturaleza, Luna de Miel, Exóticos y Arqueológicos. Día 1: Ciudad de origen ­ Bangkok Salida con destino Bangkok. Noche a bordo. Día 2: En vuelo. Día 3: Bangkok Llegada y traslado al hotel. Resto del día libre. Alojamiento. Día 4: Bangkok Desayuno. Salida para la visita al Palacio Real, sede de los reyes de Siam de la dinastía Chakri, originalmente construido por el rey Rama I, que sirvió como residencia real hasta 1946. Hoy en día el palacio todavía se utiliza en algunas ocasiones para invitados especiales del reino. Junto al gran palacio se encuentra el Templo del Buda de Esmeralda (Wat Phra Keo), probablemente el más conocido de los templos reales. Está considerado el templo más importante de toda Tailandia y es la sede de muchas de las numerosas ceremonias religiosas en las que el rey participa, sobre todo al principio de cada una de las tres temporadas cuando Su Majestad cambia personalmente las elaboradas vestimentas de la imagen de Buda tallada en una sola pieza de jade verde. También tendremos la oportunidad de visitar el Templo de Wat Pho, conocido por albergar uno de los Budas reclinados más grandes del mundo, y el Wat Traimit, que contiene el Buda de oro, una estatua en oro macizo, la más importante del mundo. Alojamiento en el hotel de Bangkok. Día 5: Bangkok ­ Ayutthaya ­ Phitsanulok Desayuno. Por la mañana, salida por carretera hacia Ayutthaya, 80 kilómetros al norte. Es la antigua capital de Siam, destruida por el pueblo birmano en 1776. Las ruinas son vestigio del pasado de la ciudad. Destacan la estatua de Viharn Phra Mongkol Bobitr y los templos de Wat Phrasisanphet y Wat Mahathat. Continuación a Phitsanulok. En ruta, almuerzo en un restaurante local. A la llegada, visitaremos el templo de Wat Pahathat, del siglo XIII, y veremos su impresionante Buda Chinaraj. Al terminar, traslado al hotel para el alojamiento. 17/01/2021 1 Tailandia: Ruta Norte y Koh Samui, circuito con estancia en playa Día 6: Phitsanulok ­ Sukhothai ­ Lampang Desayuno. Salida hacia Sukhothai, primera capital del Reino de Siam y cuna de la cultura thai para visitar su importante parque histórico, con ruinas del siglo XIII. Destacan el templo Wat Mahathat, considerado centro mágico y espiritual de Siam, y el Wat Sri Chum, con una de las mayores estatuas de Buda sentado del país. Continuación hacia Lampang. En ruta, almuerzo en un restaurante local. A la llegada, visita del templo Wat Phra That Lumpang Luang, con impresionantes murales del siglo XVI y una elegante y colorida arquitectura. El templo se encuentra en una colina amurallada y alberga una gran colección de antiguos utensilios de madera. Traslado al hotel para el alojamiento. Día 7: Lampang ­ Phayao ­ Chiang Rai Desayuno. Continuamos dirección norte hacia Chiang Rai, la provincia más septentrional. Lo hacemos en un trayecto paisajístico a través de montañas y con espectaculares vistas, haciendo una parada en el lago Phayao. Más tarde, llegamos al Triángulo de Oro, el punto donde confluyen las fronteras de Tailandia, Myanmar y Laos, delimitadas por los ríos Mekong y Ruak. Almuerzo en un restaurante local. Traslado al hotel de Chiang Rai para el alojamiento. Día 8: Chiang Rai ­ Chiang Mai Desayuno. Salida hacia Chiang Mai, visitando en ruta el poblado de las mujeres jirafa. Visitamos también el Wat Rong Khun, conocido como el Templo Blanco, un templo budista, convencional y contemporáneo diferente al resto de los templos tailandeses, decorado en blanco, que es el símbolo de la pureza budista, y con cristal, referenciando a la sabiduría de Buda como “la luz que brilla en el mundo y el universo”. Almuerzo en un restaurante local. Por la tarde, llegada a Chiang Mai. Traslado al hotel para el alojamiento. Día 9: Chiang Mai Desayuno. Nos dirigimos a un campamento de elefantes, en el que podremos ver cómo se les entrena desde pequeños y cómo se bañan en el río con sus mahouts. También asistiremos a un pequeño espectáculo en el que demuestran sus habilidades. Daremos un paseo de unos 45 minutos por la selva a lomos de uno de estos simpáticos animales. Terminaremos la visita con un viaje en balsa de bambú por el río y volviendo al campamento en un carro tirado por bueyes. Después nos dirigiremos a la granja de orquídeas, donde disfrutaremos del almuerzo. Por la tarde, visita del templo Wat Doi Suthep, el más sagrado del país, situado en la montaña, a 1100 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Desde allí, si el clima lo permite, se obtienen unas vistas espectaculares. Regreso al hotel para el alojamiento. Día 10: Chiang Mai ­ Ko Samui Desayuno. Traslado al aeropuerto. Vuelo desde Chiang Mai a Ko Samui. Llegada y traslado desde el aeropuerto al hotel seleccionado en Ko Samui. Resto del día libre. Alojamiento. Día 11: Ko Samui Día libre. Alojamiento. Día 12: Ko Samui Día libre. Alojamiento. Día 13: Ko Samui ­ Ciudad de origen A la hora acordada, traslado al aeropuerto. Vuelo con destino ciudad de origen. Noche a bordo. The province covers 6,596 sq. km. and is above all noted as the centre of the old Thai kingdom of Sukhothai, with major historical remains at Sukhothai and Si Satchanalai. Its main natural attraction is Khao Luang mountain park. The provincial capital, sometimes called New Sukhothai, is a small town lying on the Yom River whose main business is serving tourists who visit the nearby Sukhothai Historical Park. City Attractions Phra Mae Ya Shrine Situated in front of the City Hall, the Shrine houses the Phra Mae Ya figure, in ancient queen’s dress, said to have been made by King Ramkhamhaeng as a dedication to his late mother Nang Sueang. Sangkhalok Museum The Museum displays Sangkhalok (Sawankhalok) ceramics of the kind produced in old Sukhothai and ceramics produced in the old Lanna Kingdom (now northern Thailand). Located 1 km. from town on the Phitsanulok Road; open daily 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.; admission : 100 baht adults, 20 baht children. Fish Museum Located in Rama IV Park on the Phitsanulok Road, the Museum displays a variety of freshwater fish mentioned in Thai literature. Open daily except Tuesdays 9 a.m.-5 p.m., admission free.
