The sun was a scorcher, yet the young athletes gave it their all throughout the day. There were 213 participants competing from 20 clubs for the event, so great representation from surrounding areas. Athletes competed in a variety of track and field events throughout the day, including Long jump, High jump, 100m, 200m and the tiny tots even got to strut their stuff on the track. SHARON DEAN ars glistened, entertainment Cechoed out across the recreation grounds and the crowds flocked in through the gates for the 2020 Motorama in Morrinsville. The event featured a fine display of trucks, vintage and classic cars, motorbikes, entertainment for the kids, and Miss Retro competition. Stopping and chatting to many of the car owners was a privilege – the hours involved in looking after their pride and joy is a credit to all concerned. The ever popular Kiwanis train was again cruising around the grounds. The rock wall proved to be a popular attraction by the youngsters. So was the food on offer I might just add! As always the YANKEE HAULERS host an amazing event which is evident by the number of people in attendance. Check out more images on our Facebook Page.
