RICHARD RUBIN BIOGRAPHY Richard Rubin is a multi-talented performer who has been entertaining audiences around the world as both a piano comedian and an international television personality. Whether performing his one-man piano comedy show live at corporate events, on luxury cruise lines, on the Las Vegas Strip or starring as a host, contestant, presenter, or guest star on such television networks as NBC, VH1, E!, MTV, the CW, Nickelodeon, and Comedy Central, he consistently gets rave reviews for his quirky and energetic performances. Richard is a classically-trained pianist whose one-man show uniquely blends original comedy with virtuoso piano playing. His show features everything from ragtime to boogie-woogie, Liberace to Beethoven, dancing to physical comedy, and always leaves the audience wondering what he is going to do next. Bill Handel, of KFI 640 Radio in Los Angeles, has described Richard as “quirky, funny, half a musical genius, he’s so damned entertaining it’s almost hard to believe.” His musical performances have been featured on national television programs in the United States, Argentina, and Chile. Richard is also multilingual and has starred in television productions around the world. In the United States, he is most well known as the star of the CW’s Ashton Kutcher-produced TV show, “Beauty and the Geek,” and as a regular celebrity panelist on the NBC game show, “1 vs. 100,” hosted by Bob Saget. (FOX Sports says that Richard is “a joy to have on the television screen.”) In Latin America he is known as the co-host of “Flor de Palabra,” an Argentine game show which aired on TELEFE and TELEFE Internacional. The show was filmed in Buenos Aires and performed in Spanish with Florencia Peña, Argentina’s premier comedic actress. He also starred in the hit Chilean reality show “Mundos Opuestos 2,” which aired on Chile’s Canal 13. .
