Compared to the previous year, prices of new dwellings increased most in Vantaa, Espoo and Helsinki. 2 Development of prices of new dwellings in housing companies quarterly, index 2015=100 The statistics on the prices of old dwellings in housing companies are based on the Tax Administration's data on dwellings (data on ownership of dwellings in housing companies). The numbers published from data on dwellings should not be used to assess the activeness of transactions in the latest periods. When the monthly statistics on prices of old dwellings in housing companies are published for the first time, they cover approximately 60 per cent of all transactions made in the latest statistical reference month. The quarterly statistics include around 70 per cent of transactions in the latest period. Particularly in summer months, the number of transactions in the latest release of the monthly statistics may remain lower than usual and become revised in the coming months. The data become revised during the following months so that the final data for the year are published in the release concerning the first quarter of the following year. Further information about data revisions can be found in separate tables. The data on new dwellings in housing companies are based on information on the transaction prices reported by the largest building contractors and real estate agents. The numbers of old dwellings in housing companies sold through real estate agents are based on the data from the price monitoring service of the Central Federation of Finnish Real Estate Agencies. As a rule, these data do not become revised retrospectively. Data on prices of dwellings in housing companies in different areas and by house type are available at stat.fi/til/ashi/tau_en.html. The tables also contain data on the prices per square metre at the municipal and postal code levels and on the numbers of transactions. If only a few transactions are known in the area, a couple of deviating cases may significantly affect the average price for an area and the price index. 3 Contents Tables Appendix tables Appendix table 1. • Local Government Employment Pilots – Uusimaa TE Office Questions and Answers
Local government employment pilots – Uusimaa TE office Questions and answers 1. What is the local government employment pilot? The local government employment pilots are a project lasting more than two years in which some of the legally mandated employment services of TE offices are to be arranged by municipalities. Taking part in the project are 125 municipalities and 26 pilot areas formed by them. Participants in the Uusimaa region are Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kerava, Porvoo, Raasepori and Hanko. The regional pilots begin on 1 March 2021 and they end on 30 June 2023. 2. Why are the local government pilots being launched? In accordance with the Government programme, the role of municipalities in organising employment services is being strengthened. The purpose of the pilots is to improve access to the labour market, especially for those who have been unemployed for longer and those who are in a weaker position on the labour market. In addition, services are to be developed in the pilot that support the employment of a jobseeker, and service models in which the customer's situation and need for service are evaluated at the individual level. 3. What does this mean in practice? After the launch of a local government pilot some of the jobseeker customers will become customers of the municipalities, and some will remain with the TE office. When a customer is transferred to the local government pilot, his or her services will be primarily provided by his or her municipality of residence. The TE office will retain some tasks involving the customers that move to the local government pilots, such as statements on unemployment security and interviews and selections for vocational labour market training.

Growing welfare differences and accumulation of disadvantage raise concern. We harvest this luxury product from Siberian sturgeons, but it is our geographical location that really sets us apart. With unlimited access to cold, clean, Nordic water, we are able to produce caviar that has a truly outstanding flavour - a taste experience like no other. Carelian Caviar is a sustainable - and 100 % natural - premium product, produced in crystal- clear Nordic waters on a sturgeon farm in Finland´s beautiful North Carelia water district. Our farm uses a special indoor farming technique, the Recirculated Aqua System, that allows quality control from spawn to roe, producing luxurious caviar with perfectly balanced texture, aroma and flavour. It´s silky in the mouth, fresh on the nose, and has lingering notes of ocean on the palate. Cultivation of sturgeons in this way helps to preserve the wild sturgeon population. We care about the environment and treat our fish - as well as the nature around us - with respect PRODUCTS 1.
