Camden welcomes new traders
Camden Council is piloting an Ice Cream Scheme designed to achieve several positive outcomes using street trading licence requirements in line with the London Local Authority Act 1990 (as amended) . The aim is to license 5 temporary sites by issuing 6 months temporary licence to improve air quality, reduce emissions from engine idling, good hygiene standards, clear pricing, health and wellbeing through inclusion of healthier alternatives and an increase in enforcement. Sites will be granted to traders by way of a comprehensive, impartial application process.
Traders can apply for a 6 month temporary street trading licence for one of the following 5 sites:
1. Camden High Street (Outside JD sports) Camden Town with Primrose Hill
2. Albert Terrace (Park side) Camden Town with Primrose Hill
3. Downshire Hill j/w East Heath Road Hampstead Town
4. Russell Square j/w Woburn Place Bloomsbury
5. Neal Street pedestrian area (Outside Urban Outfitters) Holborn and Covent Garden Temporary site 1- Camden High Street (Outside JD Sports)
