Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations 2016 Regular Session 25 January – 3 February and 16 February 2016 Information Note for Participants The 2016 regular session of the Committee on NGOs will take place from 25 January to 3 February 2016 at United Nations Headquarters in New York. The Committee will meet again on 16 February 2016 to adopt its report of the session. The session is expected to consider 275 new applications for status by NGOs as well as 200 applications deferred from earlier sessions. The Committee will also review 404 quadrennial reports of NGOs in general or special consultative status, as well as 37 quadrennial reports deferred from earlier sessions. The session's recommendations will be sent to the Economic and Social Council for its approval during the coordination and management meetings of the Council to be held from 4 to 6 April 2016.
