​Kvindetema På Tel Avivs Pride-Festival! Rådhuset i Tel Aviv oplyst i regnbuens farver 2016-06-03 09:59 CEST Kvindetema på Tel Avivs Pride-festival! Lige nu afholdes Tel Aviv Pride, med selve paraden på fredag den 3. juni. Hele byen er malet i regnbuens farver.Temaet i år er "Kvinder i samfundet". Pride- festivalen er en af Tel Avivs største begivenheder og tiltrækker tusindvis af turister. Sidste år var der mere end 180.000 deltagere, og mere end 30.000 LGBT-turister kom fra hele verden. Tel Aviv har vundet flere priser for at være en af verdens homovenligste byer. Sienest blev Tel Aviv rangeret som verdens mest homovenlige by foran New York. Undersøgelsen blev gennemført af American Airlines og GayCities.com hvor Tel Aviv blev den mest populære destination for homoseksuelle rejsende med 43 % af alle afgivne stemmer. Højdepunkterne under Tel Avivs Pride-festival Pride-paraden, fredag den 3. juni Ugenns højdepunkt er Pride-paraden, der begynder kl. 10 fra Gan Meir-parken med tusindvis af farverige og spektakulære deltagere og udmykkede vogne, drag shows og up-tempo-DJs. Hele byen holder fest! Festen afgår fra parken, gennem byen og slutter med et kæmpe party på den berømte Sunset Beach til langt ud på natten! Dykes on Bikes Pride-paraden vil blive ledet af kvindelige israelske og amerikanske motorcyklister, der kører sine Harleys gennem byen. Dykes on Tel O Fun Lige bag de motorcyklisterne vil 50 kvinder cykle på Tel O Fun-lejecykler. Pride-paradens Partyi Charles Clore-parken Mellemøstens største strandfest tiltrækker tusindvis til solnedgangen, optrædender og berømte DJs hele natten lang. Tel Aviv Pride Beach (ved Hilton Beach) Hilton Beach vil være centrum for LGBT-bevægelsen før selve Pride-paraden. Gratis minibus fra Pride Beach til og fra Dizengoff center Farverige minibusser fra Pride Beach til Dizengoff Center og tilbage, hver dag hver halve time og mellem 12 og 20. Paddle-turneringer på Pride Beach Kl.16 hver dag afholdes der paddle-turneringer i havet, hvor man kan måle sin styrke og forhåbentlig vinde præmien eller tage det roligt og observere deltagernes præstationer. International konference om kvinders sundhed Hvert år under Pride-festivalen er Gan Meir-kliniken vært for en sundhedskonference med forskellige temaer. I år handler konferencen om kvinders sundhed og relaterede emner. Kulturfestival, et samarbejde med LGBT-foreningen og Habima-teatret. I det første samarbejde mellem LGBT-foreningens teater "The Cube" og Israels nationale teater, Habima, vil der blive opført tre forestillinger. Miss Trans Israel Ved den første Miss Trans-konkurrence i Israel vandt den kristne arabier Tallin abu Chana fra Nazareth. Hun vil repræsentere Israel ved den internationale skønhedskonkurrence Miss Trans som afholdes i Barcelona til august. Happy Hour på Port and Blue Hotel I den nordlige del af Tel Aviv, blot få skridt fra den livlige og trendy Tel Aviv Port "Namal", ligger hotellet Port and Blue Hotel, som byder på Happy Hour mellem 17-19 i hotellets lounge. Alt sammen for at fejre Pride! TLVFest - Tel Avivs international LGBT-filmfestival TLVFest er den eneste LGBT-filmfestival i Mellemøsten og et oplagt tema i den israelske Pride-uge. INDIEWIRE, der er en nyhedside for filmindustrien, valgte to år i træk TLVFest som en af de 10 LGBT-filmfestivaler man ikke må gå glip af. Festivalen byder på et fascinerende indblik i internationale og israelske homo-film. Fashion Sightseeing Hver dag afholdes 2-timers sightseeing-ture i centrum af Tel Aviv for de shopaholics, der ønsker at finde ud af hvad der er hot og hvem som er hvem i Tel Avis modeverden. Vegan Sightseeing Hver dag afholdes der 2-timers byrundture i Tel Aviv for veganere, og hvor TLVs unikke kulinariske sceneri bliver præsenteret. Eurovision Party i Gan Meir-parken Eurovision Diva, Dana International, svensk-græske Helena Paparizou og Anne Marie David samt Israels bidrag i dette års Melodi Gran Prix, Hovi Star, giver gratis koncert med deres mest populære sange. We need to win over public opinion in favour of proper investment in public services. I’ve been a care worker for over ten years, looking after people in their own homes. It’s a very rewarding job. You come across such a range of people, helping them get back on their feet so they can manage on their own again. There’s also a lot of complex cases such as stroke patients and palliative care. When elderly LGBT people see my rainbow lanyard, I can see how it puts them at their ease. I’m now on full-time release as branch secretary. Being visible in my rainbow lanyard is important for that too. LGBT members can see I’m approachable if they’re worried about anything. We’re facing a lot of issues at the moment. We haven’t had a decent pay rise for about seven years. It’s very hard for our staff as the cost of living keeps rising.

  • Tel Aviv Pride Festival 2018 – 10 Dager
    Tel Aviv Pride Festival 2018 – 10 dager Nonstop Citys årlige pride-parade vil i år finne sted den 8. juni, og vil nok en gang vise frem de mange fargene til Tel Avivs LGBTQ-miljø. Temaet for årets festival er «The Community Makes History», og man vil feire at det er 20 år siden den første pride-paraden ble arrangert i Tel Aviv, at det er 10 år siden Tel Aviv Gay Center ble etablert, og at det er 70 år siden Israel vant sin selvstendighet. Paraden vil være høydepunktet i Pride-festivalen, og den vil lokke til seg titusener av besøkende til byen. Paraden arrangeres av Israels turistdepartement, og amerikaneren Andy Cohen, produksjonsleder i TV- selskapet Bravo og talkshow- og radioprogramvert, vil være offisiell internasjonal ambassadør for Tel Aviv Pride 2018. Gjennom hele året er Hilton Beach LGBTQ-miljøets andre hjem, og under Pride begynner og slutter festen nettopp her – på Tel Avis offisielle Pride Beach. Turister oppfordres til å stikke innom turistinfo-bilen som står her. 31.05–09.06 TLVFest – LGBTQ Film Festival Tel Aviv Cinematheque TLVFest er den eneste LGBTQ-filmfestivalen i Midtøsten, og er et fast innslag i den israelske Pride-uken.
