A short annotated bibliography follows each of these sections. _Bibliographies ofchildren' spoetry and general bibliographies for grades K-3 and grades 4-6, as well asa directory oV publishersare also provided in this section. It is extremely important that_the teacher be aware of materials .available in-the field of children's literature. In order'to give teachers and librarians a mutual and immediate source for the seleCtion of materials with which to implement the skills and activities given in this publication, a short annotated-bibliography follows each of-the major sections. The entries have been_arbitrarilychosen and the lists are by no means all-inclusive,Alonger, more general bibliography follows the K-3 and 4-6 sections.
