Good Camp Site for short stay, hard to find water & power Glenorchy connection together, On Sundays they (03) 6272 6812 have a market. Self registration at Admin @ -42.829389, 147.285255 building. Barilla Holiday Park $$ Dog OK. Lovely feel to this park ,good 75 Richmond Rd, Cambridge private clean powered sites ,clean Website amenities, restaurant , take away wood (03) 6248-5453 fired pizza , mini golf and heated swim @ -42.833563, 147.445514 centre on site , short drive to shopping centres. Seven Mile Beach Cabin & $$ Dogs OK. Great clean park, hot Caravan Park showers with plenty of pressure, WiFi, fire 12 Aqua Pl, Seven Mile Beach wood provided. A bit expensive for the un Caravan/Tent Campground powered site. $25 but you end up washing Gilwell Dr, your dishes crouched at a water tap Hobart to Kingston because no kitchen camp. Great place for an 1 Ferry Rd, Kettering overnight. Really good Camp Site oysters! Nice view and very very quite... a Tasmania steep sharp downward entry which was Kettering to @ -43.134554, 147.358653 fine in my 2wd when dry but if it was wet i Bruny Island probably wouldnt risk it. Great spot toilets get cleaned South Bruny every day worth the $5.00 pp. The ranger @ -43.291519, 147.3288 now comes all different times to catch the ones camping for free, so pay your money realy worth it. Hotel Bruny (RVFD) $ Dogs OK - Self contained only. Nice 3959 Bruny Island Main Rd, spot, 50 mtrs from the beach. $15 for Alonnah power, no showers or water, toilet in pub. Website Friendly staff in the pub, meals very nice, (03) 6293-1148 normal pub prices. General store 100 @ -43.322016, 147.242238 mtrs away, groceries and some veggies. The Pines - Cloudy Bay FREE Park pass req. No dogs. Clean pit Camp Site toilet that I saw being checked on both South Bruny days that I was there. Near to beach for Website swimming. No water. Small area that fills @ -43.437706, 147.246219 up. More suited to smaller vehicles and tents, but I saw a couple of big camper- vans. Cloudy Bay Camp (Cosy $$ No dogs. National Park. Amazing spot, Corner) prime location with beach views, but . For 980 Cloudy Bay Rd, 4 adults and half team of kids we paid South Bruny $25 a night, can't complain! @ -43.465848, 147.252469 Camp/Rest Area/Park Summary of users' comments Gordon Three Huts Point (Gordon $ Dogs OK. $5 honesty box. Signposted Recreation) Reserve as Three Huts Point. Shaded areas, Camp Site plenty of space, well maintained facilities, Kettering to 4775 Channel Hwy, flushing toilets too! Beautiful waterfront Gordon Gordon views. Excellent value for money. Well Map & Directions @ -43.261393, 147.24159 done Gordon community. Camp/Rest Area/Park Summary of users' comments Franklin Franklin Foreshore Camping & $ Dogs OK. Great spot, toilets cleaned Caravan Area (RVFT) daily. Friendly caretaker. Perfect spot to 3423 Huon Hwy, unhitched and explore Huon valley. Be Hobart to Franklin sure to stock up from farmgate fruit stalls. Great views from this camp (RVFT) site stayed five nights. Good clean Huon Hwy, amenities and BBQ area. Only $10 a Hobart to Port Huon night. Great Womens Club (RVFD) spot, grassy sites right beside stream, Camp Site very quiet and we saw the platypus. Hobart to 11 Memorial Dr, Walk along stream towards town, just Geeveston Geeveston beyond bridge stand on platform and Map & Directions @ -43.168251, 146.927372 look just before dark. Camp/Rest Area/Park Summary of users' comments Dover Dover Beachside Tourist Park $$ Dogs OK. Play area for the kids Caravan Park across the road along with a seriously 27 Kent Beach Rd, good exercise/stretching 'yard' for the Hobart to Dover adults. Ablution block aged but practical. Dover Website Basic open air common with no TV. Good place to set up 8777 Huon Hwy, base camp and explore. We went Southport unpowered for a couple nites. Hobart to Website Reasonably good park with a shop and Southport (03) 6298-3144 pub on site. You can buy firewood there Map & Directions @ -43.424448, 146.97265 or from nearby wood yard. Patchy Telstra signal. Look out for the droppings especially if you have chunky shoe soles! Ida Bay Rail Camp Ground $$ No dogs. Stayed overnight in our bus 244 Kingfisher Beach Rd, and used the showers, nice and hot $10 Southport, Tasmania each. We enjoyed a very 72 Lune River Rd, peaceful night here after doing the Ida Hobart to Lune River Bay railway and walks in the area. Well Lune River @ -43.420936, 146.907036 worth the journey. Great spot, 365 Cockle Creek Rd, combination of grass and dirt! Some Recherche trees and sections for shelter from wind. @ -43.548262, 146.887369 Plenty of room for our 21 ft van. Right opposite beach. We also found plenty of wood for a camp fire. Single drop loo with loo paper (bonus!!). Catamaran Freecamp FREE Dogs OK. Camped here for 2 Cockle Creek Rd, nights in Oct. Had the site to myself. Recherche Drop toilet did not smell. Ground not -43.554441, 146.887335 soft. Cockle Creek Free Camp FREE Dogs OK. Lots of wildlife, toilet 802 Cockle Creek Rd, but no water, very quiet...it's the end of Recherche the world. We stayed one night after @ -43.579094, 146.886733 walking to the south cape bay. .
