About the Event: Hosted by ESPN commentator, Michael Wilbon and CBS NFL Show Host, James Brown, this two-day event convenes dozens of sports, broadcasting, and political celebrities to raise funds that will benefit the DC College Access Program and the thousands of students DC-CAP serves. On Friday, the evening begins with a VIP reception and silent auction featuring sports memorabilia, travel and dining packages, spa retreats and more. Next, one sports celebrity, including legends like Joe Gibbs, gets “roasted” by their closest friends which have included Magic Johnson, Alonzo Mourning, Joe Theismann, Ken Howard, Cal Ripken, and Jeff Bostic. The following morning, golfers will have a celebrity join their foursome and play 18 fabulous holes of golf on the famed Lansdowne's Greg Norman championship course for great prizes and bragging rights.
