STREITO 3 Depuis la parution du volume Coreoidea de la série « Faune de France », de nombreuses publications, essentiellement faunistiques, ont paru qui permettent de préciser les données bio-écologiques ou la distribution de nombreuses espèces. Parmi ces publications il convient de signaler la « Checklist » de FARACI & RIZZOTTI-VLACH (1995) pour l’Italie, celle de V. PUTSHKOV & P. PUTSHKOV (1997) pour l’Ukraine, la seconde édition du « Verzeichnis der Wanzen Mitteleuropas » par GÜNTHER & SCHUSTER (2000) et l’impressionnante contribution de DOLLING (2006) dans le « Catalogue of the Heteroptera of the Palaearctic Region ». En outre, certains travaux qui m’avaient échappé ou m’étaient inconnus lors de la préparation de cet ouvrage ont été depuis ré-analysés ou étudiés. Recibido: 22 de septiembre de 2017 Publicado on-line: 9 de octubre de 2017 Aceptado: 26 de septiembre de 2017 Recently, the coreid species Plinachtus imitator (Reuter, 1891), which originally was described by Reuter (1891) as Gonocerus insidiator F. var. imitator, was reported as new to the fauna of Albania (van der Heyden, 2017). In this note, the first records of the very similar species Gonocerus insidiator (Fabricius, 1787) in Albania are published. The genus Gonocerus Berthold, 1827 includes nine species; three of them can be found in the Mediterranean Region: Gonocerus acuteangulatus (Goeze, 1778), G. insidiator and G. juniperi Herrich- Schäffer, 1839 (Fauna Europaea, 2017). G. insidiator is considered a Holomediterranean species. -

Many Flea Beetles are among the most affective jumpers in the animal kingdom, sometimes better than their namesakes the true Fleas (Siphonaptera). However, despite some intensive study of the anatomy and function of the metafemoral spring (Barth, 1954; Ker, 1977) the true function of this jumping mechanism remains a mystery. It probably is some sort of voluntary Catch, in- volving build-up of tension from the large muscles that insert on the metafemoral spring (Fig. 1), and theo a quick release of this energy. Ofcourse some Flea Beetles jump better than others, but basically all have this internal metafemoral spring floating by attachment from large muscles in the relatively enlarged bind femoral capsule (see Fig. 1 ). In fact Flea Beetles can usually be easily separated from other beetles, including chrysomelid subfa- milies, by their greatly swollen bind femora. There are a few genera of Alticinae that have a metafemoral spring and yet do not jump. Actually there are a few genera that are considered to be Alticinae that lack the metafemo- ral spring, e. g. Orthaltica (Scherer, 1974, 1981b - as discussed in this Symposium). Also the tribe Decarthrocerini contains three genera from Africa that Wilcox (1965) con- sidered as Galerucinae, but now thinks to be intermediate between Galerucinae and Alti- cinae; at least one of these genera does have a metafemoral spring (Wilcox, personal communication, and Fürth, unpublished data). -

Les Tachinidae de la Manche : début de l’enquête et première liste (Diptera Brachycera) La famille de mouches que nous allons aborder dans cet article offre le paradoxe d’être à la fois l’une des plus riches en espèces et l’une des plus mal connues des entomologistes. Discrètes, souvent de petite taille et peu colorées, elles passent facilement inaperçues. Totalement ignorées du profane, elles n’ont reçu aucun nom vernaculaire et c’est à peine si les guides de vulgarisation représentent quelques espèces, 6 par exemple dans CHINERY (1986) contre 22 syrphes, famille d’ampleur comparable, soit moins de 1% de la faune européenne ! Un guide spécialisé dans les diptères, J. & H. HAUPT (1998), dont l’éditeur suisse annonce sans vergogne en couverture « l’identification des espèces européennes », illustre 13 espèces, soit 1,5% de la faune d’Europe. Il est certain que l’ampleur de la tâche a pu rebuter les diptéristes de notre pays, d’autant plus qu’aujourd’hui encore aucun ouvrage complet de détermination n’est actuellement disponible en langue française. Et pourtant ces mouches ne manquent pas d’attrait ! De nombreuses espèces sont d’une taille respectable, sous la loupe beaucoup même offrent un aspect séduisant par leurs couleurs veloutées, leurs reflets pruineux, leur système organisé de poils et de soies, toutes surtout ont une biologie complexe, captivante et encore mal étudiée. Pour tout dire, cette enquête limitée à la Manche (voir L’Argiope No 67) s’annonce passionnante car la page est totalement vierge et le champ de recherche immense. Bien sûr, les obstacles sont tels que l’inventaire devra être abordé avec prudence. -
