Newsletter No. 38 Term 4 Week 9 11th December 2019

Deputy Principal’s Corner - te iwi tahi tatou – we are one family…

Dear Parents/Guardians

Well this is always a happy/sad time of the year.

Last week we held our Year 6 Graduation Night where we farewelled our 58 Year 6 students. It was a great night of celebrations and of course farewells to the many families whose youngest child is leaving our school family. When we looked at all these families on the stage we recalled the many happy times we had shared on trips, camps, parent conferences, school events, sports and in the playground. It is never more appropriate at this time to remember our CONNECTED theme.

Each Year 6 student was given a motivational poster as a memento of their time at CPS. We wish each of them well as they continue their learning journey at Intermediate. We thank them for the contribution they and their families have made to our school. Happy Christmas to everyone.

Maree Goodall

This week we farewell Huahua Cui, who has been our Mandarin Language assistant this year. We wish Huahua the best as she returns home to further her teaching career.
