Today, The Heatons Centre is a local landmark, with the building having changed little since its construction. Three organisations currently occupy the centre, all o ering vital services to the local community: Signpost Stockport for Carers, Stockport & District Samaritans and Stockport Car Schemes. Signpost Stockport for Carers Centre in 010 and is responsible for maintaining the building and ensuring that it’s a well-used community supports anyone caring, unpaid, for a friend, family space. Income generated from room hire helps to member or partner, and living in Stockport.
