Nodyn | Note Dorothea Pughe-Jones lived at the turn of the 20th century. She wrote a handbook on the history of Wales and was awarded a prize at the Royal National Eisteddfod of Merthyr Tydfil in 1901. Ynysgain, Cricieth, Caernarfonshire had been in the possession of the Jones and Pughe-Jones family since the 17th century.
