Head Baseball Coach Ron Riggle is currently in his 24th season coaching the LLCC Loggers, with this being his 12th season as head coach. In addition to his coaching duties, Ron has served as the college’s athletic director since 1997. In this role, he takes a keen interest in the success of each athletic program at the college, working diligently to attract and retain gifted, hard-working student athletes to LLCC. While coaching at Lincoln Land, Coach Riggle has been a driving force in the continued success of the program, including the NJCAA Championship teams in 1994 and 2000 and the 1993 and 1995 NJCAA national tournament teams. During Riggle’s LLCC coaching career, the Loggers have won more than 700 games. Coach Riggle’s expertise and enthusiasm are built on the foundation of his own successes as a student athlete in both high school and college. The former Springfield high school All-City pitcher still holds a number of city records including a perfect 0.00 ERA record for All-City performances.
