College Enrolment Guide 2020 Please look for your first-choice college and follow the guidance to enrol.

If you have accepted your conditional offer, you should have received a package of information in the post during the first week of August telling you what to do for pre-enrolment and enrolment.

When you receive your GCSE results, you need to log onto Greenhead’s Moodle site (indicated by a ‘m’ in a circle at the top of the homepage website (www.greenhead.ac.uk). You need to click on the results link and enter your grades. You must do this before the deadline on the 31st August. You should have received a username and password for their Moodle site in the pack you received in August.

If you do not want to take your place at Greenhead College, you need to send an email to the following address to let them know: [email protected]

If you want to make a late application for Greenhead, you need to look for the ‘late application form’ on their website (www.greenhead.ac.uk). If you are doing this, you need to do it on results day as soon as possible as places will get filled very quickly.

Heckmondwike Grammar School

All students that have received an offer from HGS must upload details of their exam results using the following link: https://bit.ly/hgsenrol

They will then contact you by telephone with one of three outcomes - a confirmed offer of a place, a rejection where grades do not meet the requirements, or an invitation to come into school for a meeting on Friday to discuss their options. These meetings are likely to be for those who have just missed the terms of their offer, or who have missed the criteria for one subject but could do other subjects instead.

If you don’t have an offer but want to make and application, you should send an email to [email protected] and include the following information:

• Your full name, date of birth and contact details, including your address and phone number(s). • Your current school. • An original copy of your results (either an electronic copy of the results sheet issued by school or a scan/photo). • The 3 subjects you would like to study. Students with Grade 8s in all subjects may study a 4th subject. Students wishing to study Further Maths must take this as a 4th subject and hold at least an 8 in Maths.

Mirfield College

To enrol at Mirfield College, you need to book an Enrolment Meeting. Booking opens at 8am on results day. Huddersfield New College

Huddersfield New College have decided to delay Year 12 enrolment. It will now take place from Tuesday 1st September and into the following week. Lessons for Year 12 students will not begin until 11th September. They are holding a virtual Question and Answer session on social media / on their website on results day where admissions staff can answer questions. You must make sure you attend your enrolment appointment. Letters have been sent out to all students with offers on Monday 17th August so you should have received your letter by results day. Huddersfield New College do not accept late application unless there are extreme circumstances. If this applies, go to the website here: https://www.huddnewcoll.ac.uk/apply-courses/apply complete the form and email in with a supporting letter explaining what the circumstances are. St John Fisher 6th Form

If you have accepted an offer from SJF 6th Form, you should have received a letter with information regarding enrolment. You should have been given an appointment between 9am – 12:15pm on Friday 21st August.

If you want to put in a late application to SJF, you need too email [email protected] and you will be invited to an interview slot between 1pm and 2pm on Friday 21st August but ONLY if you are meeting the entry criteria for a Level 3 course. Kirklees College (Huddersfield and )

Information on how to enrol should have been sent out to you earlier this month. You need to enrol online by going to the college website: https://www.kirkleescollege.ac.uk/ There’s also an enrollment hotline if you get stuck which is 01484 437100.

If you haven’t applied for College but you want to apply, you need to book an appointment to talk to a tutor either face to face or over the phone. The Hotline Number is the same as above (01484 437100). If you turn up to college without an appointment, you will not be seen.

Wakefield College

You should have received a letter from College with a date and time that you need to go into College to enrol. Any questions or concern email admissions@.ac.uk or call them on 01924 789111

Leeds City College

If you have accepted an offer from City College, you should have received an email or a text or a letter from them. On results day you need to upload an image of your grades onto the portal. If you have any problems with the portal or if you have any questions, call 0113 3861997 or email [email protected].

Bradford College

If you have accepted an offer from College, you should have received a link too enrol. They sent this via text or email. If you have any problem send an email to [email protected] or call them on 01274 088088 or 01274 433333 The Creative and Media Studio School

If you have accepted an offer for The Creative and Media Studio School, they should have contacted you via email with the enrolment details. If you have any problems, send an email to hello@studio- school.org.uk or call them on 01484 382140

Elliot Hudson College

You will need to enter your name and a telephone number that they can contact you on. No further information is required at this stage so it will be a relatively quick step to complete. You will know that you have completed the Form completely when you see ‘Thanks’. Any applicant who does not complete this step will be automatically declined and their place offered to another applicant.
