COOS BAY — City officials say the Chandler building is “bordering on a dan- gerous state now,” but efforts to shore up the downtown landmark will begin soon. A month ago, the city of Coos Bay labeled the Chandler as “sub-standard,” and work was expected to begin on stabi- lizing the building at that time. As of Tuesday afternoon, work had yet to start.
