The Country Club of Louisiana is one of two courses home to the LSU men’s golf team. The CCLA is a par-72 course located five miles from the LSU campus on Highland Road. The course, which opened in 1986, has played host to the Country Club of Louisiana Intercollegiate each fall since 1993.The Tigers won the inaugural event in 1993 and again in 2000. ASU Indian Classic April 14-15, 2003 Jonesboro, Ark. PREVIEW RidgePointe Country Club (Par 72) The Tigers added the ASU Indian Classic to their schedule late in the season to replace the Country Club of Louisiana Intercollegiate which was canceled due to inclement weather. LSU made the most of it by tying for fifth place out of 19 teams. The Tigers shot a 24-over-par 888 and were led by John Humphries, who shot a 1-over 217 to tie for fifth place.
